JK - thanks for your comment. Like you, I am not a friend who is confrontational but rest assured they are out there, so I didn't have a problem with that at all.

I think Katie loved Luc all the way through the book, so it was not a complete turnaround. She just finally allowed those feelings to surface.

My review of this book is not as kind. Do you find her "feisty" characters a bit unbelievable? I have never had a friend – nor have I been the kind of friend – who meddles so deeply into others' lives. Are friends really that confrontational?

And what about that ending? One minute she is ready to go back to CA, and the next she is twirling in front of the stoic Luc, flirtatiously admitting that she loves him. And all because of a cryptic pep talk from Mom and Eileen? I really struggled with this one!

*Sigh* that Luc! I just love him but I can't get over the previous cover for this book with the guy that looked like Ryan Seacrest I think I might yet become a fan of the "headless" covers!
