10 Year Anniversary, Celebration Day 1 ~ VLOGGING

rr10long

Thanks for joining me to celebrate 10 years of Relz Reviewz!

You, my readers, have made it possible to be doing something I’ve been passionate about for years – connecting readers with authors who write stories to inspire, challenge, entertain, wrestle with, and love. Over this week I’ll be vlogging (who would have thought?!), sharing memories of the last 10 years, meeting authors, and giving away some INCREDIBLE book bundles that you are going to want a chance to win. I hope you will be patient with this interruption to my usual schedule and enjoy something a little bit different

Libby Abbott leads a seemingly charmed life: she works from a beautiful home in a rich neighborhood as an aspiring author and has a handsome and successful husband who supports her dreams. But behind closed doors are the suspicions of infidelity, failed pregnancies, a writing career that’s virtually non-existent, and a heart that is so far from God, she’s not sure she knows the way back. The Story

When the chef of Sunset Paradise Retirement Village ends up dead, life for sisters Fern and Zula Hopkins is whipped into a froth. Their zany attempts to track down the killer land them in hot water with Detective Jared Flynn. Should he be concerned about their safety or the criminal’s?

But there are deadly ingredients none of them expect. Drugs. Extortion. International cartels. And worst of all…broken hearts–especially when the Hopkins sisters’ niece KC arrives on the scene.

Bookish Question of the Week

BookishQu250So, friends, there is a teensy weensy event coming up at the blog next week, commencing Sunday 25th September. A little celebration of 10 years of blogging for yours truly. I’m super excited as I have some AMAZING giveaways planned thanks to the wonderful publishers and stellar authors I work with, along with some great interviews and a bit of reminiscing.

I’m pondering whether I do something I’ve never done before and that is a vlog or two! What say you? Think you will be able to understand my accent? Anything in particular you would like me to talk about?…

Melissa Jagears: The Inside Scoop! and a giveaway

rp_Melissa-Jagears-680x1024-680x1024.jpgI grew up in…Branson, MO. People are often surprised people grow up in Branson instead of just vacation there. It’s great place for a teenager because there are so many flexible seasonal jobs. I didn’t have any really fun ones like running go-karts, but I worked at several stores in the mall and I met my husband as a banquet server at Chateau on the Lake. And then when you’re a singer in your church and/or school, you get some cool opportunities. I think my favorite was singing in the backup choir for Sandi Patty.

Coming soon from Tyndale House

tyndalelate2016Tyndale House take a lot of care when it comes to their cover art, with a focus on thematic covers for their series and quality design.

Joel Rosenbeg’s covers never leave you in any doubt about the genre or content of his novels and are clearly aimed at his target audience. Similarly, DiAnn Mills and Candace Calvert’s covers pull romance readers in with their prominent couples and genre specific clues. While the covers themselves are not out of the box for the romance genre, they are both very eye-catching and including both pivotal characters on covers always appeals to me.…
