Cover Art & Book News Revell Early 2022 Releases

Happy Monday, reading friends! Hope your weekend has been grand 🙂

Starting the week with a look at the early 2022 releases from Revell, and what a way to begin! With a new cover designer at the helm, there are some gorgeous cover below that break away from the traditional Christian Fiction style, much to my delight!

The ones that immediately catch my eye are the covers for Laura Frantz, Jody Hedlund, Jennifer Deibel, and Kelli Stuart. Stunning by virtue of style, colour, impact, and/or simplicity.

Susie May’s and Sarah Sundin’s get special mentions, too. Sarah’s is lovely and it …

Inventing Vivian by Jennifer Moore ~ review and excerpt

Book Review

Synopsis:~

Ladies of London’s High Society are known for their social graces and poise. Vivian Kirby boasts neither of these enviable qualities, though she does offer impressive conversation on chemical compositions. Unfortunately, it appears that not many men want a brilliant wife. So it is that Vivian finds kinship with a group of young women who embrace each other’s differences: The Blue Orchid Society.

After an extended stay in China, Lord Benedict has returned transformed to his family’s estate, where an encounter with Vivian, whose scientific knowledge he once undermined, leaves him determined to make amends. He arranges

The Shell Collector by Nancy Naigle

Synopsis:~

Two years after her husband’s death, Amanda Whittier has two children to raise alone, an abandoned dream of starting a business, and a fixer-upper cottage by the sea. She has no room in her life for anything else and little interest in moving on after losing the man she loved.

Paul Grant is a relative newcomer to the area, and his work with former military dogs needing rehabilitation has been good for the town. Though he loved once before, he’s convinced he’s not suited for romance and is determined to find meaning—alone—through his work and role in the community.

How do you expect Breach of Honor to resonate with your readers?

In bringing attention to domestic abuse, I hope readers will recognize that it can happen to anyone. The abused are never at fault. I would hope that anyone in an abusive relationship would get out. I hope they would realize that there are resources available to them. But …

John Eyre by Mimi Matthews

From USA Today bestselling author Mimi Matthews a supernatural Victorian gothic retelling of Charlotte Brontë’s timeless classic.

Yorkshire, 1843. When disgraced former schoolmaster John Eyre arrives at Thornfield Hall to take up a position as tutor to two peculiar young boys, he enters a world unlike any he’s ever known. Darkness abounds, punctuated by odd bumps in the night, strange creatures on the moor, and a sinister silver mist that never seems to dissipate. And at the center of it all, John’s new employer–a widow as alluring as she is mysterious.

Sixteen months earlier, heiress Bertha Mason embarked on

There’s No Place Like Home by Jennifer L. Wright (with giveaway)

There’s always something that bit more exciting when hosting a debut novelist. I’m always moved by the staggering achievement it is to write a novel, have it critiqued, likely rack up a number of rejections, find a publishing home, more editing, more people having opinions on your story, before finally…finally…that book hits retailers, shelves, and gets read by someone like you and me!

So, kudos to you, Jennifer for taking on the ups and downs of a writer’s life and bringing to life this story for readers to immerse themselves in. And for the great feature about home and what …
