Coming soon from Revell Books

Revell2015

 Here’s a look at Revell’s latest 2015 lineup!

So, Lisa’s is looking good, continuing on her themed Southern Crimes covers, love the pink streak in the cover model’s hair for Cathleen’s, and the colour pop of Kellie’s is eye-catching.

I’m in two minds over Janice’s! I love the look but maybe the placement of the series title in the top left is distracting me a little. Maggie’s is more of the same for an historical and I’m not a big fan of the lace edge, I like that there is a guy on the cover of Dan’s but I’ve never

Debra: The Little Mermaid.

Mary: The Black Stallion by Walter Farley. It’s the first book I ever read that I remember thinking of the …

Cover to Cover: A Journey with Tamara Leigh

CovertoCovergraphic

I first fell in love with Tamara Leigh’s writing when I read Stealing Adda, a fabulous story about “writer’s block, nibbled nails, plagiarism, oh my! And did I mention romance?” Tamara continued writing great contemporary romance stories with Faking Grace, Perfecting Cate, her Southern Discomfort trilogy, and my all time favourite, Splitting Harriet. Returning to her “first love”, writing medieval romance, Tamara digitally self published Dreamspell, a fantastic time travel romance and launched her Age of Faith inspirational medieval romance novels ~ The Unveiling, The Yielding, The Redeeming, The Kindling, and

Jolina, Caffeine, and The Midwife!

JPCollage

Well you know my avoidance of Amish fiction for the most part! I will, however make an exception for the very talented Jolina Petersheim. At first, I wanted to read her debut novel simply because it was a retelling of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter, one of my favourite books from high school. It didn’t take me long, however, to fall in love with Jolina’s characters, the setting, the evocative prose and the poignant story that is The Outcast.

It’s now my delight to introduce you to Jolina’s second novel, The Midwife – one I’m planning to read …
