Well you know my avoidance of Amish fiction for the most part! I will, however make an exception for the very talented Jolina Petersheim. At first, I wanted to read her debut novel simply because it was a retelling of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter, one of my favourite books from high school.
