What was a favourite childhood book of yours?

The Borrowers fascinated me, tiny little people using everyday objects like thimbles and strings and matchboxes to create a whole world beneath the floorboards and behind the walls. I remember a fierce longing to be like them, to be able to crawl into a hole in the baseboard and emerge as someone safe and unseen like them.

Do you remember the title of the first story you ever wrote? What was it about?

So it has been a while since new cover art has hit Amazon’s “shelves” but here is the latest batch from the fabulous Bethany House Publishers.

You will see that I’m still waiting on Lynn Austin’s and I will post it as soon as they come available. So, we continue to have the usual historical fiction covers of pretty young women with the tilted and turned heads! What struck me as I looked at these was the emphasis on browns and beige.
