It’s always fun to put these posts together, especially where a long awaited cover is revealed!

Rachel Hauck’s cover for her second Royal Weddings novel has been highly anticipated in the blogging world. I love the dress and tiara, the motion and bare feet ~ I adore the continuing themes from the first book, Once Upon A Prince. I have one ‘but’ – the red background of the heart just interferes a bit for me and upsets the balance of the rest of the cover. Rissi & Lydia ~ you have a great eye for covers, what say you both?

I don’t want to waste this opportunity and I would love to give you the chance to participate, too! So, in answer to my question …

What did you do on/for your 13th birthday?

If memory serves me correctly, I had the flu on my 13th birthday, which meant I spent it in bed, reading a good book, yet completely miserable.  I did hold a sleep-over with my fabulous girlfriends the following week, and I’m sure we did all those things adolescent girls do, such as board games, truth or dare, and ate far too much junk food

What 3 adjectives would your

Harvest of Gold by Tessa Afshar with giveaway

Harvest of GoldSynopsis:~

The scribe Sarah married Darius, and at times she feels as if she has married the Persian aristocracy, too. There is another point she did not count on in her marriage-Sarah has grown to love her husband. Sarah has wealth, property, honor, and power, but her husband’s love still seems unattainable.

Although his mother was an Israelite, Darius remains skeptical that his Jewish wife is the right choice for him, particularly when she conspires with her cousin Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Ordered to assist in the effort, the couple begins a journey to the homeland of
