The Story

Tending to the army’s sick and wounded meant leading a life her mother does not understand and giving up a handsome and approved suitor. What appeals to you most about writing fiction?

The act itself. Nothing compares to the feeling I have in the middle of, say, Chapter 18, with paper strewn all over my desk, my fingers numb from typing, the hot coffee I just poured sitting cold and …

Synopsis:~

Tia Morales is used to calling the shots. She’s the director of the popular sitcom Stars Collide, and her life on set is calculated and orderly. Well, most of the time. But her life outside the studio is another matter. Coming in early 2013 from Revell

More fun and thoughts with Revell’s early 2013 lineup with some suspense, historical, Amish, romantic comedy, contemporary drama and more!

I’m particularly looking forward to reading Olivia, Irene, Julie, Ann and Janice’s books; I’m intrigued by Dann’s and Ruth’s stories and can’t wait to read Mesu’s take on Hosea and Gomer ~ Mesu writes great Biblical fiction so I have high expectations!

Cover wise, I’m glad they have moved away from the hero/heroine tradition with Irene’s new series and can anyone dispute that Janice’s cover is the first CBA novel with the protags kissing on the cover?!? Love that Revell …

Coming in early 2013 from Bethany House

I always look forward to seeing the cover art Bethany House Publishers put so much effort into and I’m thrilled that  they are stepping out a bit more adventurously with their early 2013 releases.  I love that male characters have been given more of a profile in Siri, Kim and Mary’s covers and adore that Jody’s has the hero solo ~ not a flounce or piece of lace in sight! (Not quite so sure about the flapping cravat though!!)

Take a good look at the great offerings with historical, contemporary, suspense, Amish and fantasy all featured in this line up …
