Cover Art Reveal: Coming in mid 2017 from Revell

It’s Saturday here and family time beckons, so this post will be short and sweet! Here’s Revell’s latest lineup of new covers for your perusal. Would love to hear your thoughts on which ones catch your eye – cover and/or storyline. Lynette’s and Susie’s are both must reads for me. And I really must get into Liz’s and Johnnie’s novels.

Maggie Brendan’s cover girl reminds me of an actress, but I can’t think of her name – can anyone help me out?

Have a wonderful weekend, reader friends – hope you get to cosy up with a great book. When …

The Reading Habits of Connilyn Cossette (with giveaway)

Loved learning about Conni’s reading habits and I hope you do, too! Be sure to enter the giveaway of Conni’s second novel via the Rafflecopter form below…

Are you a re-reader? Why, or why not? And if you are, what are some of the books you have read over and over?

Not usually. Once I know the ending I am usually satisfied and do not read a book again. I do have exceptions though. I will re-read a book if I want to analyze it for writer-learning purposes, or if it’s a book that captured me years ago and I …

Kimberly Stuart: Indie Author Alert (with giveaways)

Kimberly Stuart is a rare talent. She pens super smart novels, filled with humour (and by that I mean really, really funny!), warmth, and emotion. I’m excited to introduce you to her wonderful novels which she has recently re-released with gorgeous new covers. Kimberly was first published in 2006, releasing Balancing Act and unleashing Heidi Elliott on the world, following up with Bottom Line and a few standalone novels. I own and have read all her original novels, with the exception of Act Two, but boy, do I want to get my hands on these beauties. I fell in …

Cover Reveal: Coming in mid 2017 from TNZ Fiction

Once again, Thomas Nelson and Zondervan fiction raise the bar on unique cover art that doesn’t scream Christian Fiction – well, excluding the Amish covers! There is absolutely a place for some Christian novels to look like Christian novels, because they are written specifically with that audience in mind. But, I’m a firm believer that excellent fiction that is written for a wider audience needs to appeal to that wider audience. As an aside, fabulous cover art is fabulous cover art, no matter the audience!

I adore Michele Phoenix and Rachel Linden’s! They appeal to my preference for clean, fresh, …

Intermission by Serena Chase (with giveaways)

We are starlight on snow. The reflection of something already beautiful—absorbed, reflected, and remade into something… more.

And this kiss…

This kiss is everything I’ve needed to say… and longed to hear.

Sixteen-year-old Faith Prescott eagerly awaits the day she will exchange her small Iowa hometown for the bright lights of Broadway, but her success-driven parents want her to pursue a more practical career, labeling “artsy” people—including their daughter—as foolish dreamers worthy of little more than disdain.

When Faith meets nineteen-year-old Noah Spencer she discovers someone who understands her musical theatre dreams… because he shares them.

Faith’s mother despises
