This is the first thing I made my wife-to-be while we were dating (I think it was on the fifth date). Now we’ve been married 24 years, and I attribute that to the magic of this dish.

Shrimp Curry


Ingredients

1 ½ lbs of small, de-tailed shrimp (aka prawns!)
1/2 onion
5 T butter
8 T flour
4 T curry
2 t salt
1 T ginger
1 T sugar
1 can consume or beef broth
2 cups milk
½ T lemon juice
