I have finally completed this post as requested by my fabulous fellow Inspy’s Advisory Board Member, Lydia from the Overweight Bookshelf. I rarely talk personally on my blog – it is, after all, a book blog and not a blog about Rel so sorry for those just wanting to know more about books! I spill the beans on a few things about me you may or may not want to know 😉

Question 1: How tall are you? 

I used to be tall…now, not so much!! I reached 5’6″ by the time I was 11ish – I stopped growing when everyone else started. I’m now rapidly becoming the shortest person in my family 😉

Question 2: Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what? 

Mmm….does a past hidden talent count? I used to speak and write Japanese pretty well. Now, barely a word – LOL!

Question 3: What’s your biggest blog-related pet peeve? 

Comments that are rants, personal attacks, rude, and insensitive.

Question 4: What’s your biggest non-blog related pet peeve?

Question 5: What’s your favorite song? 

No favourites but anything sung by Josh Groban or my husband!

Question 6: What’s your favorite Etsy shop that isn’t yours? 

Etsy = Craft = so not me!

Question 7: What’s your favorite way to spend your free time when you’re alone? 

Seriously? It will come as no surprise to say reading 🙂

Question 8: What’s your favorite junk food? 

What isn’t?!

Question 9: Do you have a pet or pets? If so, what kind and what are their names? 

The most gorgeous black Labrador in the world! Meet Sherlock…

Question 10: What are your number one favorite nonfiction and fiction books? 

Again with the favourites. And what is this non-fiction you speak of?! Okay, I am actually reading Ann Voskamp’s One Thousand Gifts and that is one heck of a book. As for fiction, any book by Ronie Kendig, Tamara Leigh, David Eddings, Chaim Potok, along with a host of others….

Question 11: What’s your favorite beauty product? 

Um…well, I don’t have one. Lip balm that’s on special?!

Question 12: When were you last embarrassed? What happened?

Well, my girls were present and can attest to my red face. We were grocery shopping and a young male shop assistant approached us for the second time trying to flog us something. I told him he had already spoken to us and in softening the blow of letting him  know I winked at him, realising it probably wasn’t all that appropriate to wink at an 18 year old guy. It was quite involuntary and I hoped that no one noticed. That wish was put to rest when three sets of horrified eyes looked at me and said, “Mum, did you just WINK at him?!” As you can imagine, that story has been told many, many times since then by my children 😉

Question 13: If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Soda water (sparkling water, carbonated water)

Question 14: What’s your favorite movie? 

Do mini-series count? Elizabeth Gaskell’s North & South

Question 15: What were you in high school: prom queen, nerd, cheerleader, jock, valedictorian, band geek, loner, artist, prep? 

Um…we don’t really have those labels in Australia but I was one of the smart kids, apparently.

Question 16: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

Australia, no question!

Question 17: PC or Mac? 

PC, dreaming of a Mac.

Question 18: Last romantic gesture from a crush, date, boy/girlfriend, spouse? 

Might sound strange to some but I’m an acts of service gal, so when my husband washed and dried all the dishes after a party we had had so I didn’t have to do it on my day off, it was a gift!

Question 19: Favorite celebrity? 

Now here’s one I can answer…Richard Armitage

I have the best blogging  friends already ~ my INSPY girls, the gorgeous Dorothy Adamek, and more so there’s no need for secret ones!
