American Adventure, ACFW, and a hint of what’s to come…

P1030224I’m home!

After ten amazing days in the USA, including attending the ACFW ~ American Christian Fiction Writers ~ conference in Indianapolis, I landed back in Melbourne yesterday morning to be greeted by my fabulous husband and wonderful daughters. I have a boatload of memories to process, stacks of photos to enjoy, and a good many posts to organise for my blog.

While at ACFW, I conducted 23 author interviews, connected with bloggers, publishers, and publicists, hugged many other authors I’ve longed to meet, and sadly missed catching up with a number of people who attended but we didn’t cross paths.

An evening dining and chatting with the gorgeous Tamara Leigh in Nashville, rooming with the exceptional Ronie Kendig and exploring Indy for a couple of days post conference, and a few days in Dallas with the fabulous Kelli & Dennis Standish, were highlights I will always treasure.

I have a wealth of author interviews and ‘Mad Minute’ videos to post in the coming weeks, which I know you will love. Please be patient as I get those organised and ready for posting here. These posts will be interspersed with my regular features so look for them coming soon!

Here’s a few author photos for you to enjoy, with lots more to be revealed here soon. They come with my thanks for your wonderful support and encouraging comments while I was away.

Looking forward to up coming posts.

  6. So glad you arrived home to such a warm welcome! My family was missing me, and I’d only been gone a week! LOL The picture of us made me cry–not because it’s a bad photo, but because it brought home to me that you are not within reach anymore. 🙁 In the words of the inimitable Yoda: Cry not. Skype we must. 😀

  7. Fabulous photos, Rel. Eager to see all that’s to come and your “regular” schedule of posts, too!
