After a drive at his morning touching three American states, I arrived Indianapolis and the ACFW conference. What an amazing place to be amongst so many people who are as passionate about stories as I am…I think some, even more so!
Meeting my dear friend and roomie, Ronie Kendig was the absolute highlight of my day! On top of that gift, I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with Jamie Carie, who I got to know when she published her first novel, Snow Angel, shared hugs with Beth Vogt, Casey Herringshaw, Lisa Harris, Kellie Coates Gilbert, Jeane Wynn, Julie Gwinn, Katie Ganshert, Dineen Miller, Sarah Sundin, Rachel Hauck, and more. I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with Peter Leavell, Lynette Eason, Kaye Dacus, and other wonderful writers.
The genre dinner was a lot of fun, seeing so many authors dressed in the costumes of the time periods and genres they write in. Check out my facebook page and twitter for some great pics as I understand the photos aren’t posting here at the moment – my apologies!
So much more to see and tell but it’s bedtime for me as I have a full schedule of interviews to get through tomorrow, fueled by Tim Tams, Aussie lollies, and Caramello Koalas ๐

So glad you are having such an awesome time, Rel! I hope you are able to take everything as it comes and take it all in as well ๐ Are you able to share your Tim Tams with anyone? Then again, maybe it wouldn’t be such a grand idea to get the Americans craving them… I would then see numerous expensive care packages in your future! LOL And as for gaining weight – that would be a given considering the portion sizes of their meals – but I’m sure you will cope with that just fine ๐ Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!! ๐
