So most people are intimidated by the big guy, the boys call Legend! What were your first impressions?
He’s a mountain of a man with a very complicated, very rich inner soul.
Tell us something sweet about Griffin that is too often hidden by all that muscle (just don’t tell him I’m the one asking – LOL!)
Griffin keeps his private life to himself…but that’s also where he’s the ‘deepest.’ Did you know that he saved up all his money and bought his grandmother—the woman who raised him—her first brand-new home, in a nice, posh neighborhood? If that doesn’t tell you something about the guy, you’re blind, deaf, and just plain dumb.
A little birdie told me you have some trust issues! Why is that?
Who is there to trust when everyone betrays you? I’m not even sure I trust Griffin fully. He knows that. He’s okay with that as long as I’m trying. Let’s move on. There are bigger things in life than my problems. 
As an undercover operative, as a woman how do you compartmentalise when you have to?
It’s the only way to survive. Work is work. Play is play. If you mix the two, trouble is waiting. *shrugs* I don’t think about it; compartmentalizing just happens.
When your undercover days are over, what is your greatest desire?
I’ve been told the only way out of this is to die, so…why dream about it?

Max – intense and rock solid
Legend – boxed up and proud
Colton – religious, resilient, thoughtful
Canyon – quiet, intelligent, easy-going & yet determined
The Kid – misunderstood and under appreciated—he’s a goldmine!
Aladdin – stiff, stoic, formidable foe
Squirt – proud, incredible strategist

I love these character interviews, especially since great characters truly feel like real people. I really need to read this series because everything about it sounds fantastic.

I'm on my knees begging! Please convince Barbour to let you write a story about The Kid. I think he's my favorite character. We don't mind five-book series.

Okay, the guys are mad at me for saying the Kid was my favorite. I should re-state that. He's *one* of my favorites. LOL Really, I can justify favoritism toward each of them in one way or another.
But I really do think Marshall brings something to the table the others don't. Shh…don't tell them I said that.

Ha! I can't decide either, Ronie. They all have something that is really appealing about them from Max's strength of spirit, Colton's deep faith, Canyon's compassion, Marshall's (The Kid) humour and vulnerability, Griff's loyalty and then there is Squirt and Aladdin ~ keeping what I think of them to myself for now ~ sigh!
I'll always have a soft spot for The Kid, though, isn't that so, Ronie 😉

Well, I'm fickle. My favorite happens to be whomever I'm reading about at the time. Just love'em all…and Barbour really should finish up the series with a tale of each magnificent hero….really, they should.
