Character Spotlight: Natalie Walters’ Brynn Taylor & Jack Hudson with giveaway

Rising romantic suspense author, Natalie Walters, kicks off her Snap Agency series with Lights Out. You can get your hands on her Snap Agency prequel novella Initium, which will add to your understanding of the series, but you won’t be lost if you begin with Lights Out.

If you haven’t ‘met’ Natalie yet, here’s a peek into her life:

My world revolves around GIJOE and our three adult (or almost adult) children who keep my life anything but predictable. Our boots hit the ground wherever the Army sends us but home is when we’re all together no matter the zipcode. My passion is writing stories where adventure meets love and share my belief that life rooted in purpose is a story worth telling.

Enjoy meeting Brynn and Jack below!

CIA analyst Brynn Taylor developed a new program to combat terrorism, and she invited members of foreign intelligence agencies to America to foster cooperation between countries. Now one of them, Egyptian spy Remon Riad, is missing. She is forced to team up with an elite security team, the Strategic Neutralization and Protection Agency (SNAP), to find the missing spy. The only problem—she must work with her ex-boyfriend, Jack Hudson.

Jack has been working for SNAP for almost nine years and takes the lead in hunting down the missing spy. But he never imagined he’d be working with the woman who betrayed him.

Every lead they follow draws them dangerously deeper into an international plot. Kidnapping, murder, explosions, poisoning—the terrorists will do anything to accomplish their goal of causing a digital blackout that will blind a strategic US military communications center and throw the world into chaos. Can Brynn surrender control to a man who doesn’t trust her? And is Jack willing to risk his heart to hunt down the only person who can stop the global terrorist attack?

Background to the story:

Enjoying dinner with a friend who works for a government agency, he shared about a time when a foreigner invited in by their agency (part of a joint cooperation program between countries) for training—disappeared. They eventually found the foreigner doing something rather harmless but it got my imagination spinning. What if that foreigner had an ulterior motive and rather than harmless intentions posed a serious threat to the safety of not just America but to her allies around the world. I wrote that story and I love how it turned out. Also, my friend now forces me to sign non-disclosure agreement before he steps foot in my door. Just kidding. Kind of.
