  1. I actually haven't read any of the nominees, though I am in the middle of reading North or Be Eaten aloud to my four kids. We loved Peterson's first Wingfeather Saga book. I am also especially happy to see Lisa Samson and Athol Dickson's names on the list – they are two of my favorite authors of Christian fiction.

  2. Amy @ My Friend Amy

The Passion of Mary Margaret was one of my top reads last year. I haven't loved all of the nominees, but that's okay. Will be interesting to see how it all turns out.

  3. Ooohhh how painful is that list?! I always want the ones I've read to win….but June Bug and Veiled Freedom are in the same category!!!

I can't wait to see which books win ~ although I'd love to know how they pick. It's very exciting seeing how many of those I've read.

  4. I'd love to see Cindy Woodsmall win. I have to say she is one of the best Amish authors I've read.

And then Lynn Austin and Terri Blackstock. In the historical romance, I've read all the books. My pick would have to be Julie Klassen.

I've read a good majority of these books.

  5. Juju at Tales of Whimsy.com

Way cool. I've often wondered about these.

  6. I love what I've read of Tamera Alexander's work! However, I have a copy of The Inheritance that I haven't read yet, so I'll have to get on it!

Thanks for sharing this information with us!

  7. I've read and reviewed "The Familiar Stranger." A terrific book, written by a terrific woman. You go, Christina!
Also read "The Silent Governess." Another good read.

I'm happy for all the nominees. 🙂

  8. I have only read Stand-in Groom but have one of Tamara Alexanders to read.
Looks like some good books mentioned.
(I do check here often just dont comment as much)
