New cover for Denise Hunter’s Driftwood Lane

I posted some months ago about Denise’s newest Nantucket Love Story, Driftwood Lane. The original proposed cover has now been changed to the one you see below ~ I think it looks terrific. I like covers with people where the person is not on full display, just like this one.

How about you?

Meridith can handle anything: guardianship of three distant siblings, a dilapidated Bed-and-Breakfast, even an ever-present handyman who’s dismantling more than her fireplace–or can she?

When the death of Meridith’s estranged father leaves her with custody of three siblings she’s never met, she reluctantly goes to Nantucket to care for them–but only until their uncle returns from his trip. Little does she know, the uncle is already there under the guise of her friendly handyman, with plans of his own.

Will the love that grows between them be strong enough to overcome the secrets that brought them both to Driftwood Lane?

Releasing June, 2010

  3. Maybe it is because I am more conservative, but not crazy about this cover, prefer covers where the person is dressed a bit more conservatively than a sleeveless, low cut top

This one is pretty but I love the the look and feel of the first one better 🙂

    Plus I miss the pink.

  5. Thanks for your comments, Renee, Lori, Mark and Juju.

We are all different with our likes and dislikes, aren't we?

  6. Looking forward to this one…and I like this cover MUCH better. 🙂

  7. I didn't realize Denise Hunter had another book coming out. I really loved the last Nantucket Love Story. Both covers are okay but I like the new one slightly better. It does seem to emphasize the romance aspect of the story more by making the man more noticeable. In the older cover he is a mere speck in the background!
