New mother/daughter fiction team!

B&H Publishing has fast become one of my favourite fiction publishing houses with their Pure Enjoyment line of excellent fiction. With stellar authors like Robin Caroll, TL Higley, Jim Rubart, Jamie Carie and Tosca Lee, I am sure Kimberley Woodhouse will be no exception!

The uniqueness of this story will be added to by Kim’s collaborator, her 12 year old daughter, Kayla. Mmmm…my twelve year old loves to write ~ maybe Kim and Kayla are on to something here 😉 Unlike us Aussies, many Americans will be familiar with the Woodhouse family through their appearance on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

No Safe Haven is the first in a trilogy of romantic suspense novels set in beautiful and wild Alaska, commencing with Jenna, Cole and Andrea’s story. I’m so looking forward to reading what this mother and daughter team have come up with.

How about you?

No Safe Haven by Kimberley Woodhouse & Kayla R. Woodhouse

Jenna Tikaani-Gray and her twelve-year-old daughter, Andrea, are on their way home, hoping for a fresh start after a lifetime of medical trials and great sorrow. But when sabotage brings their small plane down, they find themselves fighting for their lives. And they don’t know what’s more dangerous: the weather and terrain of Sultana—one of the most hazardous mountains in Alaska—or the armed men chasing them.

Hardened by the loss in his life, Cole Maddox knows the best path is one he walks alone. No one to care for—or about. That way he can focus on what matters: getting a secret technology safely into the hands of the US Military. But when the plane he’s on with Jenna and Andie crashes, it will take all his skill and strength to get them out alive—and all his determination to stay in his self-imposed solitary confinement.
