Synopsis:~
Radio talk show host Eve Reilly is used to backlash from her pot-stirring on-air commentary and interviews, but now it seems a disgruntled listener is resorting to more than angry words to express their displeasure. When a suspicious package arrives on her doorstep, Eve turns to law enforcement for help.
Police detective Brent Lange can’t find any evidence to link the string of unsettling incidents that follows, but he’s convinced they’re connected. As the harassment grows more menacing, it becomes clear someone wants Eve’s voice silenced–permanently.
But unless he can track down her foe, fast, the gutsy woman who is willing to take risks for what she believes–and who is swiftly winning his heart–may not survive.
Bestselling author and three-time RITA Award winner Irene Hannon is back with a heart-stopping new series that will have you turning pages well into the night.
Necee’s take:~
Riveting suspense focused around controversial issues, Hannon delivers a heart-pounding novel that had me on the edge of my seat.
“She was the real deal—strong, intelligent, principled, courageous, caring . . . not to mention beautiful.”
I was excited to read this new series focused on three sisters in Hannon’s Triple Threat series. Point of Danger is the first book and centers around Eve, who is a controversially conservative talk show host. Getting to know her and her sisters made for a promising start to this series. Eve is a strong female role model with strong opinions that get her into trouble. She doesn’t back down and holds true to her beliefs.
The question is who is after her and will she survive the onslaught of rage coming at her. Hannon takes us into the life of a conservative talk show host who is hitting too many topics people don’t agree with. It is very on topic with current events. Instead of focusing on one person’s rage, she takes the role of numerous people, keeping you on the tip of your toes in this chilling romantic suspense. Seeing the different views surrounding heightened political issues of our time period was intriguing. At times I had to put the book down as the suspense was so heightened.
There are many controversies dealt with, that readers will love or hate. For political intrigue from a conservative point of view, this was a good read. However, I’m not sure everyone would love it, because of that. I felt conflicted at times, but loved the intrigue. There are heavier adult topics, but it gives the reality of controlling behaviors and made for a suspenseful and thrilling read. Trying to guess who was after her felt like I was on a roller coaster. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series and getting to know Eve’s sisters.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I enjoy both the natural family ties as well as the conflicts siblings have, yet family comes first always.

I enjoy reading them because they make me think about and remember my own siblings.

I love the relationship dynamics and the inside jokes and teasing! I can relate well to siblings series because I have 6 siblings of my own!

I finished this book yesterday and really liked it. There were some very timely topics that will be a ‘hot button’ for some, that I’m sure will cause strong opinions of love/hate, but the mystery was excellently done.
I’m anxious to read the next sister’s story. Even though I don’t have any sister’s myself (two older brothers for me), I enjoy reading about sibling dynamics especially these Reilly girls with their intriguing jobs.

I enjoy the dynamics and interactions between sisters, good or bad. It always makes for an interesting storyline, especially if they can’t seem to get along.

I think my favorite part about sibling series is being able to keep up with the family throughout the whole series and learn more about their lives.

Siblings stories always make me wonder what it would have been like to have siblings near my own age. My only sibling is 13 years younger than me.
