Revell Books Cover Art & Book News – mid 2019

Cover Art Headers (11)

Another post that has been a long time coming, so you are likely to have seen these covers out and about, but it’s always good to have them in one place, right?! Revell is back with some terrific cover design, and ones we are well familiar with, in a more traditional Christian romance style. I understand why the books that shout “Christian Fiction” appeal to many readers, but I’m just not that target audience. That said, the quality of cover is there with Revell’s design, no matter what my preferences may be!

I’ve moved clearly moved away from people on covers, at least when they are front and centre, when I realised my favourites from this group are all ‘peopleless’! Except for Natalie’s, but there the model is only a small part of the atmospheric cover, with yellow once again proving popular with a suspense novel.

The ones that are standouts for me are Susie’s, Shawn’s, and Caleb’s. All different, but striking nevertheless. Bethany’s is cute and the nods to pop culture are fun. And for those with people, Joanna’s is my pick – it’s elegant, the font work is a little unusual which I like, AND books!!!

As for stories, I’m especially excited to read Bethany’s, Natalie’s, Susie’s, and Caleb’s, but they all sound pretty good!

What are your thoughts on these covers? The stories they hold?
