Synopsis:~

She loved…and lost.

Ruby Jane never thought she’d meet the man of her dreams while running from the police in Russia. That he’d steal her heart on a train to Siberia. But loving a former CIA officer comes with a price…a life of danger. A life of high stakes.

A life where he simply disappears…

He has no memory of the man he was.

Mack Jones has no memory of his past…just the dark sense that he is hiding. And, he wants to stay that way. Mack likes the life he’s built in a small tourist town, tucked away beyond the mountains, and has no desire to dig around in the gray areas of his memory.

When his place of business catches fire and Mack rescues the owner, he makes the news, which of course alerts the past he’s hoping to outrun.

The only person who can help him is a mysterious woman he doesn’t remember.

But a woman he desperately needs.

The surprising, thrilling conclusion to the Montana Marshalls series.

Necee’s take:~

“We are Marshalls. And we are not alone.”

Because the family element is so important to the finale of this series, I highly recommend reading the books in order from The Montana Marshall’s family series. Knox, Tate, Ford, Wyatt and then, Ruby Jane as the fifth book. The oldest brother, Reuben’s story started it all in the Montana Fire Series with Burnin’ for You. If you love adventure, romance, special ops, and travel with a family theme, you will absolutely love all the siblings books. It is fun seeing all of them show up in each other’s storylines. Also, there is a continuation of a central story theme that is key to the entire series woven throughout. Each of them struggle in their own ways with their place in the world and in their family roles. One of the things I loved the most was seeing their confidence grow in their faith and lives. Susan May Warren has a way with words in developing the faith element of each of their stories and I loved how it all come together in Ruby Jane.

I think one of my favorite couples are Ruby Jane and York. I love their spy ops relationship. I love their witty banter. I loved York throughout the series. He just has this way about him that has you hoping for a happy ending. He has gone through so much and this book opens with him ending up with amnesia and disappearing. He’s ready to start a new life, but that old life is getting in the way. In comes Ruby Jane, and of course danger isn’t far behind. As this couple dodges danger and all the Marshall family comes together to thwart the threat against them and the nation, we get a satisfying ending and a hopeful beginning to a new series. Action-packed and full of intrigue the dynamics of this couple will keep you rooting for them to get together as they negotiate a roller coaster ride of adventure and romance. This is a great book and series for you if you love adventure, mystery, and romance with a faith element woven into the storyline. I really don’t want to give away too much in my review as there is so much that has happened. The ending was different than I expected, but that just made it stand out. Loved the mystery of this couple. And to wrap up the faith element of this book, remember…

“When all else is done, God is enough, everything and always.”

Great review! You did good! I totally agree with all you said regarding this wonderful family and series!

  3. I usually don’t watch movies or TV. I’d rather read a book. I’ve read the first couple of books in this series and I’m looking forward to the others.

Thanks for the review and giveaway!

  5. I loved Alias when it was on. I also love Jason Bourne movies as another stated. Another favorite burned spy show was Burn Notice. Loved my Michael Weston & crew.

  6. I haven’t heard of that show before, I like spy movies of all kinds.

  7. I love her books. I have not started this series yet and am excited to read it. I love series where we get to continue to get to know the characters throughout the series.

  8. I just told my hubby we needed to find the early seasons of Alias and watch them again! It’s such a fun show–my only gripe is the amount of skin some episodes show, especially in the later seasons.

  9. I also like Alias! When I started watching it I got a little obsessed 🙂
