Top Ten Tuesday: Books that should be adapted into Netflix shows or movies

It’s another Top Ten Tuesday with Necee, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! This week’s theme fit right into my current reading. I had just finished a book that screamed “this would make a fantastic movie” when I saw the TTT topic of “Books that should be adapted into Netflix shows or movies”, so that was fun!

Here are my top ten picks for the week. I’m sure you’ll have plenty more to recommend!

Rel here: Just had to say that Necee chose some fabulous books here, that beg (or is that us doing the begging?!) to be adapted to the big or small screen. Don’t get me started on who to cast!! There’d be much consideration to determine who could play Marco, Hamilton, Victor, and all of Tamara’s knights!! Handing it back over to Necee now 🙂

Books that should be adapted into

Netflix shows or movies

  1. The Price of Valor by Susan May Warren screams “must be made into a movie.” Although, to be honest the whole series would make a great Netflix series. This book is part of the Global Search and Rescue series, so just the name lets you know there is a lot of adventure. ALL of Warren’s books would make great movies!
  2. Brand of Light by Ronie Kendig is a space opera adventure I’m desperate to be made into a series or movie. I love the team and Marco in action would be awesome to watch. The romance and whole good vs. evil would make for an epic storyline. However, ALL of Kendig’s books should be made into movies!
  3. The Truth About Fame by Toni Shiloh. Think romantic suspense with a swoony bodyguard.
  4. Start With Me by Kara Isaac – a love hate relationship with a guy that’s just trying to be a better man. I’d love to see a number of her books made into movies.
  5. Airborne by DiAnne Mills – suspense surrounding a flight hit by a mysterious virus.
  6. Beach Haven by T. I. Lowe – summer vibes and a good beach romance.
  7. Heartless by Tamara Leigh. Historical romance that will have you rooting for the hero. Her contemporary and historical novels would be awesome on the big screen.
  8. Lantern Beach Mysteries by Christy Barritt. An undercover officer has to go into hiding in a small beach town, but she can’t keep herself from solving crime. I love the quirky personalities here, too.
  9. Mind Games by Nancy Mehl. Riveting psychological thriller with the daughter of a serial killer.
  10. First Wave by Lisa Phillips. A special counterterrorism task force that would make a riveting series.

What books would you like to see made into a Netflix series of movie?

  2. Oh wow, thank you so much!

  3. You nailed this TTT! Tamara Leigh, Ronie Kendig and Susan May Warren series are some of my most favorite and it would be this book lovers dream to see them come alive on the big or small screen. And, since Relz Reviewz introduced to me T.I. Lowe’s wonderful books….my heart would melt to see the Sand Queens and their “kings” 😉 and especially those feisty Knitting Club ladies.

  4. I’m thrilled! Thank you so much.
