Top Ten Tuesday: Favourite Books by authors whose names start with T

The Writer & her Book (86)

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) was an impossible task for me – Favorite Books Released In the Last Ten Years (one book per year). If you have seen my bookshelves you would appreciate that would have been too much of a dilemma for me because, you know, ALL THE BOOKS that I’d have to choose from. So, I tweaked it to my advantage and decided on favourite books by authors whose names (first or last) start with T. Even then I had to leave some beloved books out – I’m looking at you Tamara Leigh – but I wanted to share the bookish love around 🙂

Each of these stories are well worth checking out via the links below. Some of the books will have different covers as these are all first edition, well loved copies.

Authors whose names start with T

All This Time by Melissa Tagg – contemporary romance

Protection for Hire by Camy Tang – romantic suspense

Surrender the Heart by MaryLu Tyndall – historical romance

Sky Blue by Travis Thrasher – contemporary

Miracle in a Dry Season by Sarah Loudin Thomas – historical

The Guy I’m Not Dating by Trish Perry – contemporary romance

Thr3e by Ted Dekker – thriller

  1. Rel,

I love this twist! This was impossible and there were so many authors I didn’t add. I didn’t even start doing a top list for the year until 2012 so that made it even worse. Nightshade by Ronie tied with Courting Morrow Little by Laura. LOL

  2. I wondered what kind of slant you’d put on the topic. Even cutting mine down to one for each of the last ten months was a challenge!

Not surprisingly, we share a lot of favourite authors that begin with T–including the one that stepped aside in order to share the bookish love around 😉

  3. I liked this twist. Good job on it.

    My TTT.

  4. I definitely would include the Thoene’s, I have been reading their books since the 90’s. They write great historical and biblical fiction. My list would also include Ted Dekker, Terri Blackstock and Tamera Alexander.

  5. Tamara Leigh – Tamara Leigh – Tamara Leigh!!!

  6. I like that you limited it to authors with the letter T, that was really clever 😀 My favorite books by T authors are LOTR by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fire’s Stone by Tanya Huff and Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller!

  7. I’d add Jen Turano to this list.

  8. I love what you did with this week’s prompt!
