I know this doesn’t look like fiction – that is because it isn’t! I have made an exception to my fiction only rule ๐
Stormie Omartian has authored this wonderful book teaching kids about God and what happens when they talk to Him through prayer. My three daughters aged 9,6 and 3 love it and the reminders of God’s love and His listening ear have been good for Mum and Dad too!
The illustrations by Shari Warren are enchanting. It is a beautiful book with a powerful message which children of all ages will grasp and it makes a lovely gift to treasure.
What Happens When I Talk to God? is in stores now from Harvest House.

Btw, I gather you pay the subscription fee for LibraryThing looking at the number of your books!! I started entering mine last night and got to 79–and that was only about two shelves’ worth!!! Oh no. ๐ Is it worth paying the subscription for? Are there other free ones? It’s such a fun tool!

Rel, thanks for reviewing this book. It’s good to know there are books like this one, that are suitable for children. I don’t suppose it would be possible to put a note on your computer somewhere for me to borrow it off you next time I swap a load of books? I think one of my daughter’s would greatly benefit from that lesson in her life right now. It’s that whole 9yo thing that we have going around here!!!
