Bookish News…

I love sharing author news, and it is especially fun when said authors happen to be two of my very favourite writers and if that’s not enough, also exceptional and gorgeous women!

First up is Ronie Kendig and her soon to be released, Beowulf: Explosives Detection Dog. Beowulf is the final in her A Breed Apart series and has Timbrel and Candyman front and centre. If you have not read Trinity and Talon, you really must do so before Beo arrives to get the full Ronie Kendig experience! Here’s the trailer for your enjoyment ~ so love the terrific dog who models Beo’s unique beauty so well!

Next up is Tamara Leigh, the exceptionally talented medieval romance writer and her latest e-book, The Kindling. Following on from her previous Ages of Faith novels, The Unveiling, The Yielding, and The Redeeming. The Kindling is Abel Wulfrith’s story, a warrior left at the end of The Redeeming with near fatal injuries and little will to live. When Helene of Tippett is summoned to nurse him back to health, Abel desperately wishes it was not so. This is a beautiful story, told as only Tamara tells it, with her perfect medieval voice and authentic yet still swoon worthy characters!

The Kindling‘TIS SAID FAMILY CREATES A MULTITUDE OF SINS.

Helene of Tippet is not her father or her brother’s keeper. Yet when she is enlisted to use her healing skills to aid a fallen knight, the secret she holds close threatens to visit her family’s sins upon her. Now she is in danger of loving where she should not—a man of the nobility, and one who has cause to despise her if ever he learns of the blood that courses through her veins. Dare she reveal herself? Dare she trust a warrior so bitter and intent on revenge? Dare she love?

Sir Abel Wulfrith, a man bred to battle, has the scar to prove one should never trust a woman. But when he is wounded by his family’s enemy, he finds himself at the mercy of one who could prove his undoing. Now he faces a battle against which no strategy can prevail, no blade can defend, no heart can escape unscathed. Can he forgive Helene the sins of the father—more, the sins of the brother? Can he reclaim his faith? Can he love?

  2. Isn’t that dog perfect for Beo?!?! I was so impressed–the producer went and hunted down the right Bullmastiff. I think “Beo” is gorgeous!

  3. Roll on January so we can get Ronie’s book!!! Hooray. Will be on my holiday reading list, maybe to read while relaxing on the beach. Can’t wait. Thanks Rel and Ronie. My son just heard the music to Ronie’s trailer and said it sounded “dramatic.” Can I borrow Tamara’s books please Rel? Thanks Rel and Tamara too.
