Bookish Question of the Week

Quoftheweek

Thanks for your patience these last few weeks while posts have been sporadic! All will be back to normal come Monday.

I’m excited about this year of books and writers –  there’s so much to look forward to, don’t you think?

Debut authors, authors branching out into new genres, new series from beloved authors, indie books that are getting better and better…I tell you, we the readers are the winners in this book wonderland.

So, a very simple question of the week today…

What 2015 releases are you excited about?

As far as contemporary novels go, I can’t wait for Ronie Kendig’s Falcon, Amy Matayo and Nicole Deese’s He Said, She Said, and Denise Hunter’s two 2015 releases 🙂

  3. I’m very, very excited for many releases in 2015, but those four books are what I’m waiting impatiently for:

    2) A Love Like Ours (Becky Wade)
    3) Not By Sight (Kate Breslin)

Oh, and Karen Witemeyer’s A Worthy Pursuit!
Thanks Rel! And thanks for all the hard work you’ve put into this blog. While there are a few other blogs I occasionally check in on, yours is one I go to about every day! I truly love it 🙂

    • Ah, Marie, you make me smile! Thank you for your encouraging words – what a blessing you are.

You have some of my favourites there, too, especially Jody Hedlund’s YA medieval romance and I’ll add her first straight historical coming up later in the year. Oh, and Beth Vogt’s Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Rachelle Dekker’s The Choosing, and Don Brown’s Detained!

  5. So many books and so little time! One day I will retire and read all the books I want…but until then, I’ll have to fit them in as best I can. But I definitely want to read Beth Vogt’s new book and Sandra Orchard’s…

  6. I’m looking forward to reading these books (and more)in 2015:

⦁ Sabotaged (Alaskan Courage) by Dani Pettrey
⦁ How to Catch a Prince (Royal Wedding Series Book 3) by Rachel Hauck
⦁ The Inn at Ocean’s Edge (A Sunset Cove Novel) by Colleen Coble
⦁ A Love Like Ours by Becky Wade
⦁ Beyond the Ashes (Golden Gate Chronicles Book 2) by Karen Barnett
⦁ Deadly Echoes (Finding Sanctuary Book #2) by Nancy Mehl

⦁ Hearts Made Whole (Beacons of Hope) by Jody Hedlund
⦁ A Worthy Pursuit by Karen Witemeyer

    Blessings,

    Tammi

  7. The one I am most anticipating is “Sabotaged” by Dani Pettrey. There are several others that I look forward to reading as well!

  8. The one I was most looking forward to released on January 1st, “The Price of Privilege”, by Jessican Dotta. I am also looking forward to:

    1. “Taken”, by Dee Henderson,
    2. “Baron of Godsmere”, by Tamara Leigh
    3. “Together With You”, by Victoria Bylin
    4. “To Win Her Favor”, by Tamera Alexander
    5. “A Love Like Ours”, by Becky Wade
    6. “Not by Sight”, by Kate Breslin

    (In no particular order.)

And I know as of yet, there is no date set, but I keep hoping Kristen Heitzmann will be coming out with a book soon!

    • Hey Rebecca – great list! I know Kristen is writing another book in her Indivisible & Indelible series. Here’s hoping it is out this year 🙂

  9. I enjoy your blog no matter how often (or not) you’re able to post. My top three anticipated picks for 2015 are:

“Return to Exile” – Lynne Gentry
    “Falcon” – Ronie Kendig
“Cold As Ice” – M.K. Gilroy

There are many, many more I’m looking forward to, but didn’t want to break your website posting them all.

  10. Let’s not forget …pirates!!!! The Sunken Realm!!!!—Serena Chase. And hopefully another trip to Doon!!!!

  11. “…we the readers are the winners in this book wonderland.”

    Yes 100%^

What books am I not anticipating in 2015!? Too many to name likely.

    – Dani Pettrey’s, ‘Sabotaged’
    – Susan May Warren’s ‘The Wonder of You’
    – Denise Hunter’s two 2015 releases
    – Ronie Kendig’s ‘Falcon’
    – Dina Sleiman’s and Jody Hedlund’s YA Bethany House titles
    – Sarah Sundin’s ‘Through Waters Deep’
    – Beth Vogt’s ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’
    – Becky Wade’s ‘A Love Like Ours’
    – Mary Weber’s ‘Siren’s Fury’

Also I’m curious about Carla Laureano’s books though I haven’t read her debut. Kate Breslin’s novels sound really good too and I know she has one releasing in 2015. Oh, yes! And anything Jenny B. Jones might release this year. Probably there are lots more too. I know I have several in YA (secular) fiction I’m anticipating and I’m sure there are more in this Christian fiction genre.

What about you? Which books are you looking forward to?

    Happy 2015, Rel. 🙂

    • Oh, you have to read Carla’s, Rissi! Her Five Days in Skye is one of the best contemporary romance novels I have read. Can’t wait for the sequel, London Tides.

Your list is my list, my friend! Add in Tamara Leigh’s new medieval, Baron of Godsmere, and the re-release of her contemporary romance novels, Serena Chase’s The Sunken Realm, Angela Hunt’s Esther, Stephanie Landsem’s The Tomb, Laura Frantz’s 2015 release…I could go on!
