Christmas & Crazy!

Christmas CookingYou may have noticed things are becoming quieter around here. Posts will be a little sporadic from now until Christmas as life, as you know, gets a little hectic. There’s the usual family and friends’ Christmas get togethers, the end of school flurry (we run our school year January to December in Australia), and I like to give foodie gifts so I’ve been busy the last few days in the kitchen. I’m catching up with a dear friend tomorrow and she will be the recipient of the jars in the photo ~ Walnut & Cranberry Chocolate Fudge, Peanut Butter Cups, Nutella Brownies, and Dutch Buttercake.

On top of that there is our church’s Christmas production which involves my husband and three daughters in varying capacities. My eldest is acting, my middle is behind the scenes doing a stellar job with hair & makeup, my baby makes her acting debut along with a solo, and the hubs is singing, too. I stay far away from that kind of spotlight and am cooking for the cast and crew the evening of their first performance this Thursday. With additional performances on Friday and Saturday nights, and another three across Sunday, we will be one tired family come late Sunday night!

Suffice to say, the blog will feel the side affects of the busyness. I will still be posting leading up to Christmas, just not with the same regularity for the next few weeks.

I’m excited about the New Year at Relz Reviewz with some fabulous new releases to highlight, great author news, and giveaways galore. Look for Bethany House book giveaways on Fridays and more Revell and Tyndale House giveaways along the way. I will be continuing with my character spotlights and author interviews, highlighting books from both traditionally and indie published novels. INSPYs 2015 nominations commence at the end of this month, so be sure to jump on board with your favourite books of 2014. I will even be sharing some exciting news about changes I’m incorporating in my own life, too!

While I’m mentioning changes, is there anything you would like to see here? I’d love to incorporate any ideas you may have if I can. This blog is for you, my readers, so I want to be sure I’m giving you what you are looking for when it comes to books, authors, and publishing news. Do share your thoughts in the comments below.

For now, something a little fun ~ the promo video for our church’s production,Tom’s Diner!
