Coming in 2013 from Barbour Books

Here’s a sneak peek at some of Barbour’s 2013 titles and in honour of Aaron McCarver, who faithfully comments on my cover art posts, his December, 2012 release!

If you have visited here long enough you know I adore Ronie’s books and I can assure you, you will fall in love with her gorgeous lab, Talon! MaryLu’s cover is stunning and she writes some great historical romance and Olivia Newport’s debut Amish novel intrigued me so I can’t wait to see how Annie’s story develops in In Plain View.

  1. Oh, wonderful covers, Rel. I like them all but Aaron and Diane’s really stands out to me, perhaps because I’m writing a story involving the Mississippi and steamships so it strikes a chord. Just finished MaryLu’s and it’s a keeper, for sure! Thanks for sharing the joy:)

    • Thank you so much, Laura! Diane and I so missed seeing you at ACFW this year. It just wasn’t the same without you! I love that you are doing a Mississippi steamboat story! Can’t wait for that one. I am sure it will as wonderful as everything else you do!

    • Laura Frantz » Love your thoughts, Laura, as always. Thanks for sharing xo

  2. Cool! I remember seeing Mary Lu’s somewhere – how enchanting it is!

    • Rissi » I did have MaryLu’s cover up some months ago but without the synopsis. It has been out there on other blogs, too. It has really caught people’s eyes, I think!

  3. Oh oh oh!! Happy dance! I think you know to which book I am referring 😉

  4. Thank you so much, Rel, for posting our next cover! We are really excited about this one coming out soon. And we do love the cover that Barbour did for us. I must confess that I really like all of these covers. I am a bit prejudiced toward ours, but I really like Stephanie’s and, this will shock you Rel, MaryLu’s is starting to grow on me, even with the chopped off head. I think it is the richness of the colors that attracts me. Thanks again!

    • Aaron » LOL! I agree with you on MaryLu’s cover – it is so atmospheric. I’m happy to be shocked and I can see it’s not only women who can change their minds ;-D The girl on your cover reminds my of an actress in Australia called Lisa McCune 🙂

      • Yes, men can be flexible, too. I looked up the actress you mentioned and she does favor the lady on our cover. I know for the first book in this series they hired a model to actually wear the dress and have her picture taken. Anyway, thanks again.
