Famously beautiful model Willow Bradford is taking a temporary break from her hectic schedule to work as the innkeeper at her family’s small-town bed-and-breakfast. She was enjoying the peace of her hometown, Merryweather, Washington, right up until she came face-to-face with Corbin Stewart, the man she loves to hate. A thoughtful rule-follower by nature, Willow threw caution to the wind four years ago when she entrusted her heart to Corbin–and suffered the consequences when it all fell apart.
Former NFL quarterback Corbin is forceful, charming, and accustomed to getting what he wants . . . except where Willow Bradford is concerned. Unable to forget her, he’s never stopped regretting what happened between them. When their paths unexpectedly cross again, he’s determined to make her give him a second chance.
When a decades-old missing persons case finds Corbin and Willow working together, they’re forced to confront their past and who they’ve become–and whether they can risk falling for one another all over again.
My take:~
Wowsa! Becky Wade’s talent for penning beautifully romantic novels has never been in question, but her second Bradford Sisters Romance, Falling for You, confirms she is at the top of her game, a reference her NFL quarterback character, Corbin Stewart, is sure to approve! With clever wit, incandescent attraction, and perceptive characterisation, this story shines brightly, its appeal heightened by the inclusion of an unsolved missing persons case, an inquisitive niece, and the strengthening sisterly bonds between Willow, Nora, and Britt. Every story under the romance sun has been written, yet Becky finds a way to pen a story that is fresh and intriguing. Her ability to reflect in Corbin a little of the outward arrogance that seems requisite in any high-performing athlete, along with the inner depths and sensitivity of a man devoted to his niece and the woman he adores, makes him flawed and vulnerable without being sappy. Willow is fascinating as temporarily she exchanges her modelling career with hospitality and wrestles with her attraction to a man she doesn’t want to love. And don’t get me started on Britt and Zander! Some of the most agonising moments for me were when those two took to the page – can’t wait for their story.
I loved this stunning story and I’m sure you will, too!

I pre-ordered this book, both paperback and digital formats, based on the quality of the first book in the series, True to You. This is on my TBR pile for the upcoming beach trip….if I can wait that long. Thanks for the review and a heads up that I’ll be getting the third book when it becomes available. Becky has joined my “must read” author list.

Hallo, Hallo Rel!
🙂 This was my first introduction to Ms Wade’s writings – as I elected to listen to the audiobook version of ‘Then Came You’, followed by reading ‘True to You’ and then, moved into ‘Falling for You’, as I didn’t want to short-change myself with this series. Unfortunately, for me, I felt Corbin and Willow were mismatched, in fact, I was hoping at the end Willow would recognise this and part company with him romantically. I was seriously not convinced they were meant to be together – especially how it all played out and what was shared throughout the novel.
I recently posted my fuller thoughts on the series over on my blog – unsure if your comments let us share links, but I did share the link to my blog’s homepage.
Despite this one wrinkle, I *love!* the series, so far my favourites have been Garner & Nora’s stories – I can relate more to Nora, personally and like you, I can’t wait for Britt’s story! I just hope at some point we get a follow-up about Nora and John? So many unanswered questions for them, esp if they are doing alright, as they had a lot of hurdles left to walk through.
So glad to see others are loving this series, too! Even if we disagree on a love match, the series itself is wicked brill! In fact, Ms Wade is amongst my top INSPY Contemporary authors of choice now! (also mentioned on my review)

Jorie » Becky is a fantastic writer, I agree. And she’s getting better with each story, although her first CBA novel, My Stubborn Heart, is still a favourite. I recommend it if you haven’t read it yet. Thanks for sharing.
