Hospital blues

Thursday midnight heralded a bit of drama at our place with our 12 year old daughter, EJ, becoming very ill. Long story short she underwent surgery on Saturday morning for a perforated appendix and will be hospitalised for at least five days.

So don’t expect any action here at Relz Reviewz this week while we care for her.

Your prayers for her speedy recovery would be so appreciated 🙂

  1. Praying for you and your little one!! I'm praying for a speedy recovery!

I'm glad you all got there in time!

    Sincerely,

    Nora 😀

  2. Hugs to each of you….gentle ones for E.

Feeling a little cranky that it took so long for her to have the op, though.

  3. Rel,
Just heard about this. Ongoing prayers for EJ, you and all involved. So sorry about this. You are missed. Bless you all.

  4. Rel,

I'll be praying for EJ. We went through the same thing with our daughter when she was 12. Very scary and hard on mom. We'll miss you!

  5. Praying for E.J. and your whole family. It is painful to a momma to see her child hurting.
May the peace that passes all understanding be over all of you.

  6. Oh, Rel, just heard about this and am praying for EJ and you!!! Hopefully she is well on the mend by now and you will all have a very grateful Thanksgiving!

    Hugs,
    Julie

  7. Rel, my heart goes out to you. I, too, have a 12 year-old daughter, so your struggles hit close to home for me. May EJ's recovery be speedy and complete. And may our Lord bless you with peace and patience as you and your family minister to her.
    Blessings,
    ~Karen

EJ is improving everyday but it is a slow process. We are hoping she will be on home on Thursday.

I appreciate each of you for taking the time to lift our spirits.

Love, Rel, EJ and family xo xo
