*****
Cake or Cookies – Cookies.
Call or Text – Text. Why do people insist on calling? 🙂
Coke or Pepsi – Coke. No contest.
Dogs or Cats – Dogs
Eggs or Pancakes – Pancakes
Facebook or Twitter – Facebook
First person or Third person – Third if I’m writing. I don’t care either way if I’m reading.
Instagram or Pinterest – Pinterest
Marvel or DC – DC because of Wonder Woman. I’ve never gotten into all the comic book movies, but I did love Wonder Woman.
Paperback or EBook – Paperback. I’m not anti-ebook, but holding an ereader will never replace the feel of a book in my hands. I’m very visual and I remember scenes by where they are on the pages (left middle, bottom right, that kind of thing) and that just doesn’t happen in a digital format.
Summer or Winter – Fall! LOL! I love the slower pace of summer, but it’s SO HOT where I live that it’s hard to do anything outdoors. Our winters are relatively mild, but I get a bit blue with the shorter days.
Sweet or Spicy – Sweet
Tattoos or Piercings – Piercings – at least you can change your mind about them! I don’t think I would ever be able to make a decision about a tattoo.
Tea or Coffee – Coffee in the morning, but I’m a southern girl and I do love my sweet iced tea any other time of day.
Thornton or Darcy – Darcy
Yoga Pants or Jeans – Yoga pants for the win! I’m a homeschooling writer mama. I need to be comfortable!
Zoo or Aquarium – Aquarium. It’s indoors (yay for climate control!) and it’s just so peaceful. I love the serenity of the big tanks.
Thanks Lynn!
Beneath the Surface
After a harrowing experience with an obsessed patient, oncology nurse practitioner Leigh Weston needed a change. She thought she’d left her troubles behind when she moved home to Carrington, North Carolina, and took a job in the emergency department of the local hospital. But when someone tampers with her brakes, she fears the past has chased her into the present. She reaches out to her high school friend turned homicide investigator, Ryan Parker, for help.
Ryan finds satisfaction in his career, but his favorite way to use his skills is as a volunteer underwater investigator with the Carrington County Sheriff’s Office dive team. When the body of a wealthy businessman is discovered in Lake Porter, the investigation uncovers a possible serial killer–one with a terrifying connection to Leigh Weston and deadly implications for them all.
Dive into the depths of fear with an exciting new voice in romantic suspense. Award-winning author Lynn H. Blackburn grabs readers by the throat and doesn’t let go until the final heart-pounding page.

Wonderful interview. I have never read Lynn’s books, but her writing style definitely sounds like what I love to read. Thank you for sharing. Definitely checking her books out. As for diving or snorkeling, no I’ve never tried or been. Living in Kentucky there’s not much opportunity to try it. However, given the opportunity I would not rule trying it.😉 Blessings

Loved this interview. I am always excited to be introduced to a new to me author.
I haven’t been snorkeling or scuba diving, but would take an opportunity to go if I ever have the chance.

I have done neither. This book is so on my TBR pile. Trying to finish up a couple of series

I have never been snorkeling or scuba diving because I don’t swim.

Lovely interview. I agree – Coke over Pepsi any day!
I have never been scuba diving but I have gone snorkeling while in Jamaica. And i don’t know how to swim….but you have to do it! Amazing fish and coral. So worth it.

I have never been scuba diving or snorkeling. I just can’t seem to get past the thought that while enjoying the underwater scenery, a shark will be lurking behind me and gobble me up. My sister went scuba diving once and she pretty much had a panick attack because of the equipment being so heavy and feeling very restricted and claustrophobic. Hence, I’m happy to read about the experience and enjoy the beach top side in the way of a good sunset!

I have never been scuba diving or snorkeling. I would love to do so someday!

No, I’ve never been but want to learn to snorkel to visit the coral reefs one day!
Thank you for the giveaway chance for Beneath the Surface by a new-to-me author 🙂

I have not been scuba driving or snorkling. I am not much of a swimmer, I am more a hot tub girl. 🙂 But I defintely enjoy stories with that addition!!

I have never been scuba diving or snorkeling. I do like watching my son-in-law’s Go-Pro footage of his dives. I really liked watching the Jacques Cousteau show when I was a young girl.

I’m not a swimmer, but I have been snorkeling (in water I could stand in not on a reef) and my very first time I laid on a surfboard and someone pulled me around in the Pacific while I stuck my head in the water. I’ve also been in one of those submersibles with windows you can look out at the reef.

No, I have never been scuba diving or snorkeling. I am not too adventurous.
