Francine Rivers’ excellent duology, celebrating women and family, courage and redemption, is being beautifully repackaged for rerelease in April, 2020. I have the original copies of these novels, first published in 2010, and adored the stories, but the covers are now quite dated. These stories are incredibly rich – in true Francine Rivers style – full of drama, heartache, and victory and it’s exciting they will be discovered by new readers who by cover alone, may not have otherwise invested in these books. The Top Ten Tuesday topic – hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl – didn’t quite work for me this week – cover redesigns – so I’m tweaking it to my advantage and talking about some stunning covers that don’t feature people.
