Travis Thrasher is one of the most diverse writers you’ll meet, penning romance novels, high energy thrillers, YA novels, non-fiction, and children’s stories, spanning multiple genres. It’s always fun trying to determine what kind of story will be next from this talented writer! His latest novel is a futuristic thriller that may become more truth than fiction and has New York Times best-selling author of the Left Behind novels, Jerry Jenkins, saying, “In American Omens, Travis Thrasher is at the top of his game, imagining the future with the eyes of a seasoned novelist penning the story he was destined …

Cover Reveal: Amy Matayo’s The Waves

I adore Amy Matayo’s novels! They are fresh, always unique, romantic with wit and spice, and her characters are the bomb! Amy’s reads are clean with general market appeal. I’m super excited about this cover reveal as The Waves is the first book in a connected series, Love in Chaos. I’ve long been impressed with Amy’s ability to pen stories that surprise me – there’s no cookie cutter approach – and combine often deep underlying themes whether the novel be issue driven or romantic comedy.

If you haven’t read a Matayo novel, and you love out of the box, non-traditional …

Top Ten Tuesday: Audio Books I’ve Loved

The Writer & her Book (86)

Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday post, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! This week’s topic is audiobooks.

The only audiobook I had listened to as an adult was C.S. Lewis’ The Screwtape Letter, narrated by the fabulous John Cleese, many years ago on a road trip with my husband. Then I met Tamara Leigh 🙂 Tamara and her amazing narrator, Mary Sarah Agliotta, hooked me on audiobooks and I now listen exclusively to audiobooks when I’m in the car on my own! I’ve loved every one of Tamara’s medieval romance audiobooks that I own, 18 of the 20 …

Australian Adventures and a giveaway…

Relz Reviewz Banners (7)

Thought you might like to see a little of what I was up to last week, and it’s an excuse to show off God’s creation called Australia! My husband and I had a week in a gorgeous cottage in Johanna, about 3 hours from our home, nestled in the Otway Ranges. It’s amazing country with stunning beaches and staggering cliffs, with rolling hills filled with cattle and sheep, and waterfalls in rainforests in between. The coastline is called the Shipwreck Coast, known for it’s historical dangers to wayward ships, and is home to our famous 12 Apostles, although only 8 …
