Synopsis:~

I’ll admit it… I’m not always an historical romance fan. It is hard for me to find historical books that keep my attention unless written with action, adventure and mystery. The Rescue by Tonya Eavenson met all those expectations and more.

I loved the characters in this book. I loved the romance between Rosalind and Trenton, especially his heart for her. I loved her kindness and putting others first while yearning for a better life. The story is filled with a thread of forgiveness as well as finding God as our rescuer and seeing His work through others. Sometimes it is hard for us to see the ways He is working in our lives. Then as we look back we can see Him and the ways He has been showing His love and guarding us. That is Rosalind’s story. All the ways God was leading up to rescuing her. I don’t want to share too much as I don’t want to ruin the story for you, but I thought it was perfect.
