Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’ve Had to Delay Reading (Because . . . Time)

Top Ten Tuesday

It’s another Top Ten Tuesday post thanks to That Artsy Reader Girl – they do come around quickly, don’t they? Today’s topic is Books on my TBR I’m Avoiding Reading and Why, but that didn’t quite work for me and then I happened to read my dear friend Katie’s post (Fiction Aficionado), and knew it would suit me much better! So thanks to Katie you are getting Books I’ve Had to Delay Reading (Because . . . Time). With my author support work (which I love) and some compulsory reading that’s not blog-related, there’s been so many books I’ve had to delay reading.

Here’s twelve – because 10 just doesn’t look symmetrical – books I can’t wait to dive in to very, very soon!

  1. There are a few here that I haven’t gotten around to either. Those poor books languishing away on my Kindle….
But I have read The Number of Love, The Printed Letter Bookshop, and Shelter of the Most High and they were such worthwhile books. Time is our enemy…

  2. Move The Medallion to the top of your list. I’m thinking it will be a Christy Award winner next year. Such a powerful story!

  3. CANNOT wait to read Katherine’s, and it’s a wonder I haven’t yet. Also, I’ve heard SO many good things about Mimi’s books but haven’t ever given one a chance. Hope you enjoy all of these, Rel. 🙂

  4. Hi, Rel! The topic didn’t work for me either. I did books I need to move up on my TBR. White as Silence, Red as a Song is one that was on my list. The Printed Letter Bookshop should’ve been too!
    Never enough time!

  5. Jennifer Rodewald’s book is so good! I put off reading Kara Isaac’s new one to finish my WIP. Can’t wait to dive in!
I love most of Charles Martin’s books, but this one wasn’t my fav. Still good though.

  6. Looks like we have about the same list except that I have read Conni’s book and Pepper’s. I had to put some others first.
I do want to read these though.
