Synopsis:~

I finished reading BRAND OF LIGHT and I can’t even explain how amazing it is! Just when I thought I’d read every type of plot/storyline, in comes Ronie Kendig with a whole new series. If you have any doubts about reading Kendig’s novel set in Outer Space…let me tell you, everything you love about her books is here x  10!!! ! I was completely blown away…if there is one book you read this year, this is it! Masterfully written…it’s my pick for Book of the Year! Yeah, it’s that good!

When I finished Brand of Light late and woke up the next morning, my first thoughts immediately went to Marco, Kersei, Tigo & the team!

And then I thought of the bad guys…and, they are seriously bad guys and I just wanted to punch someone! Yes, Brand of Light will have you feeling all the feels, from extreme happiness to utter desolation. Hopefulness to desperation. Adventure to near death. Then, an instant, desire for space travel. The worlds Kendig created will pull you into a whole other time and solar system. The adventures are too numerous to count. Marco, the Hunter with his own special hunting abilities and training so intense you’re wishing you could go on the adventures with him from parkour moves to new planets. Tigo has that same intensity, but his charm, wit, and dedication to his team was enamoring. His team of special operatives just add so much to the story and totally made me think this is a Kendig book in space, but so much more! I love this team. The good guys are totally swoonworthy. In comes Kersei, who is so full of spunk and yet, is faced with tragedy that has her fighting for her life. She doesn’t know who to trust, and even those she thinks can trust will be questioned. You will worry about her like she’s your own sister. And ohhh, the love stories! So epic it will be hard to move onto another romance. There were moments I had to stop and take in the story because the feels were so overwhelming I didn’t know what to do with them. One moment you will be loving the author, the next moment you will be…well just read it and see.

Masterfully woven storytelling, artistically gorgeous from the front cover to the very ending, this is an epic series in the making that will stay long with me through the years. I do not say this lightly… It just surpassed my expectations and flew to the top of my list of best reads.

I had the honour of reading this novel a number of years ago and it packed an incredible punch back then. Reading it a second time – with Ronie’s new edits and additions – only increased the powerful nature of this story. Here’s my endorsement where I was only able to express a shadow of the love I have for Ronie’s new story world, the people who populate it, and the impressive firepower of words, images, and emotions that is contained within the pages.
