The Story

Your inspiration for the character
A lady who worked at a river rafting company who impressed upon my husband and our friend on their trip.
Background to the story
Several years ago, my husband and our friend, Wade, took a trip to white water raft the Gauley River. When they returned, I watched their video, studied their pictures, and listened to tales of their adventures. It was then that I realized I just had to use the Gauley as a story setting.
