  15. “It isn’t possible for three girls to vanish into thin air, Nate.” sounds like an intriguing first line from those above. Based upon my past reading, looking forward to Lisa Harris & Lynne Gentry’s “Lethal Outbreak”!

  16. all sound great but Robyn’s really caught my eye!

  17. The “aching feet” start to Lynette Bonner’s book ICE really caught my eye. How many times have we been in that situation? Sore feet in the middle of a conflict in your life ALWAYS make it so much worse. I can’t wait to start it!

  18. Thank you to all for participating and commenting! We are so excited for this release. I’ve truly enjoyed working with each and every one of these authors and know you’ll love these stories.

  19. I noticed that most of these authors write romantic suspense, which happens to be my favorite genre to read. Besides I find most authors very generous, I just enjoy reading. While it is great to get some books for free, their work has value, not just the writing part. I want to thank each and every author for those freebies I get. I’m only up to the 70’s for this year but I like to read at least 100 a year. Winning one of these big giveaways would be like having an extra Christmas. Hubby thinks I have too many books already. But I do share the paperbacks with friends. Thanks for this opportunity.

  20. I pre ordered Dangerous Decptions.

My first line is from ALMOST A BRIDE by Jody Hedlund
    Cariboo, British Columbia. August 1863

  24. Looks like a great selection of suspense stories. The line that really made me cringe (so that would be the one that made me catch my breath) is DL Woods.

  25. This is going to be such a fabulous collaboration! My favorite First Line is going to be in PORT OF ORIGIN by Lisa Harris & Lynne Gentry.

  28. Elizabeth Goddard “He’d never looked death in the face until today……..”

  29. I love both first lines from Elizabeth Goddard & D.L. Wood.

“He’d never looked death in the face until today. This could be the day he died.”

” It isn’t possible for three girls to vanish into thin air, Nate.”

Those kind of lines hook me immediately and make me want to read the book RIGHT NOW to find out more 😁

Thank you for the giveaway chance, Rel. All these books would be wonderful to own 💖

  30. He’d never looked death in the face until today. This could be the day he died. Elizabeth Goddard’s Collision Course

  32. The first line that intrigues me the most is Elizabeth Goddard’s “He’d never looked death in the face until today. This could be the day he died.” I am always on the lookout for new authors to read, Especially now that I have been furloughed by the school district where I work.

  33. Ben in Love. The CIA angle. I am glad that the CIA briefing didn’t disturb his grilling.

  34. This looks like a good set! I haven’t heard of some of the authors, so it’ll be great to read someone new. Thank you for having this giveaway!!
