My take:~
I adore Jenny B. Jones’ stories. You are guaranteed to laugh until you cry and cry until you laugh. Jones’ talented pen never fails to provide hilarity, romance, a sucker punch of emotions, and shenanigans galore. Thankfully, Forever Your Girl doesn’t buck that trend!
Charlie’s patience and love for Katie has known no bounds, until now. When fears and insecurities she thought she’d overcome return to plague Katie as their long, long-awaited wedding draws near, Charlie despairs he will ever get the girl.
Despite some wildly extreme disasters, this story is as beautiful as it is tender, anxiety-inducing yet endlessly romantic, and for all that I loved every second. The In Between tribe are back, including Mad Maxine, and it is a fitting ending to this stellar series. I challenge you not to shed a tear or two, of either variety.
