Well you know my avoidance of Amish fiction for the most part! I will, however make an exception for the very talented Jolina Petersheim. At first, I wanted to read her debut novel simply because it was a retelling of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter, one of my favourite books from high school. It didn’t take me long, however, to fall in love with Jolina’s characters, the setting, the evocative prose and the poignant story that is The Outcast.
It’s now my delight to introduce you to Jolina’s second novel, The Midwife – one I’m planning to read soon – with a fun giveaway from Tyndale’s Crazy4Fiction team!
Let’s be honest . . . a caffeine boost never hurts. For author Jolina Petersheim, it’s especially helpful to have her favorite drink on hand when she’s racing toward a manuscript deadline. In celebration of the release of her sophomore novel, The Midwife, Tyndale’s Crazy4Fiction team would love to enable your caffeine addiction and give you a taste of Jolina’s beautiful prose. For a chance at a $25 Starbucks gift card, an authentic Amish wall hanging, and your choice of Jolina’s novels (either The Outcast or The Midwife), enter through the Rafflecopter widget below.
It’s worth noting if you subscribe to the lovely Jolina’s blog, you’ll gain 10 extra entries! The giveaway ends at noon on 30th June, so don’t delay.
To hear from Jolina on her go-to caffeine boost, stop by www.crazy4fiction.com. Those who know me well may laugh that I’m promoting a caffeine fix, given I don’t drink coffee or tea at all! I’ll dabble in an occasional Chai Latte if I’m feeling really, really cold, although my current record being maybe around 6 per year!
What about you, readers? What drink of choice kick-starts your creativity and helps you keep moving?

Sounds like my kind of book and my kind of prize_quilt and coffee. Love a Gloria Jeans choc mint latte or caramelatte. Thanks Rel and Jolina

I forgot to add that my favorite drink is iced sweet tea or a cup of orange & spice hot tea.
