Feisty wedding photographer Hannah McDermott has dealt with her share of difficult brides. But none can compare to the ultimate Bridezilla she’s dealing with now. Still, she’s trying desperately to impress Bella Neeley, Galveston Island’s most sought-after wedding planner, so she can take the top spot in Bella’s list of recommended photographers–a spot currently occupied by her arch-rival, Drew Kincaid. What she doesn’t count on, however, is falling head over heels for the competition.
My take:~
You’ve gotta love a Janice Thompson book ~ guaranteed feel good reading, fun and quirky characters, lots of laughs and joyful moments. Picture Perfect is the first in a new series that introduces fresh characters into the world of wedding planner extraordinaire, Bella Neeley, the subject of Janice’s earlier Weddings by Bella series. Janice does a terrific job of creating new characters to love and cheer for as Hannah and Drew search for love and success in their chosen careers as wedding photographers. With plenty of cameo appearances from the Splendora sisters, Rosa, Brock, and DJ, readers old and new alike with enjoy Picture Perfect and be keen to discover Scarlet’s journey towards love and cup cake perfection in The Icing on the Cake this August.

LOVED this book SO much. It was fun and as you say, offers something for new readers but is also complementary to the “old” character’s for those of us who have been with this “series” from the beginning. 🙂
Happy you enjoyed it, Rel. 🙂
