Welcoming in a new year always has me pondering new ways of doing things on the blog and this year is no different. By the end of 2013 I was getting a little overwhelmed with all I wanted to do on the blog so in an effort to manage the blog (and my life!) a little better, I’m working on a new schedule for 2014. I’ll be posting every weekday and taking the weekends off for the most part!
Here’s the proposed schedule, give or take!!
Monday ~ Bookish Question of the Week and/or Noteworthy News
Tuesday ~ Author’s Choice ~ character spotlight/author interview/author alert & book giveaway
Wednesday ~ Book review
Thursday ~ Author’s Choice ~ character spotlight/author interview/author alert
Friday ~ Author’s Choice ~ character spotlight/author interview/author alert & book giveaway
So, to celebrate the new schedule, here’s my bookish question of the week:
What’s one book (of the many) you can’t wait to read in 2014?
Here are four 2014 novels I’ve already had the privilege to read that have challenged and blessed me in ways I didn’t forsee ~ thanks Ronie, Rachel, Susan, and Beth for your faithfulness in writing fiction that touches the soul! These really need to be on your wishlists, my friends…

I am looking forward to Francine Rivers’s Bridge to Haven. It has been a few years since she has had a book out. She is a great favorite of my book club too — we plan to read it as soon as it comes out.

Beckie B. » Francine’s books always make great book club selections, I agree!
January 21, 2014 at 1:37 am
Since Beckie picked my first choice, I’ll add Jessica Dotta’s Mark of Distinction. Book one in the series was amazing! Can’t wait for book two.

I totally agree with your first 3 picks! I can’t wait for those books! As for other books I’m excited about it’s next to impossible to pick from them! All but 2 of my many favorite authors, are releasing new books this year and I cannot wait to read them all! But since I need to pick one I’ll say Here to Stay by Melissa Tagg! I adored Made to Last and can’t wait for Blaze’s story!

I’m anticipating SO many novels of 2014. Like you, I’ve been thankful to have opportunity to read Susan’s newest as well as Rachel’s and both were brilliant. They were not just beautiful but also emotionally wonderful.
I know I’m eager to read Julianna’s ‘Death by the Book’ and have a copy of Denise Hunter’s next novel which I CANNOT wait to start. 🙂

A few of the ones I’m most looking forward to reading are Cress by Marissa Meyer (YA), Full Steam Ahead by Karen Witemeyer, and The Ransom by MaryLu Tyndall (so ecstatic that we’re getting a sequel to the “Legacy of the King’s Pirates” series!!!). 😀

My pre-ordered books are set to come. But not one title/author/genre over another n I have only to July so far when books are coming out. There is: Life Support, Undetected, Silenced, Distortion, Firewalls, Visible Treat, One Perfect Spring Raptor 6 n Hawk, When I Fall in Love….. I cannot nail one title..
May 20, 2014 at 12:33 pm
I am looking back at my comments I made in January and I have enjoyed those books that have come out …. its only May… I know some new titles are still coming out for the rest of the year, but they haven’t made amazon kindle list as yet. I have 10 Christian authors I have as my base regulars to follow up on.
