Top Ten Tuesday: Authors I’ve Read the Most Books By

This weeks Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl topic for July 7, 2020 is “Authors I’ve Read the Most Books By.”  There are so many incredible authors out there that it may seem like a hard choice, but I made my decision quickly. So without further ado…

This week’s spotlight goes to the amazing Ronie Kendig. Not only have I read the most books written by her, but she highlights causes close to my heart. In light of Independence Day, I think she is the perfect author to focus on with her support of our military and veterans. She has numerous books related to special forces, teams with veterans, and even a series with an all-female military team. However, the amazing thing about Kendig is how she can write across genres.

Ronie Kendig is the bestselling, award-winning author of over 20 novels. She grew up an army brat, and now she and her hunky hero are adventuring on the East Coast outside of New York City with their grown children, a retired military working dog, VVolt N629, and Benning the Stealth Golden. Ronie’s degree in psychology has helped her pen novels with intense, raw characters.

I highly recommend her sci-fi and fantasy series, too. Her latest space opera series just finaled in the Carol Awards with “Brand of Light.” She’s received multiple awards, and besides being a phenomenal author, she’s an amazing person, too. I felt highly blessed to meet my longtime online author friend at the 2019 Fiction Reader’s Summit last year. She is an incredible woman. Honestly, I have not only read pretty much everything she’s written, but she maintains her position as one of my favorite authors. I’m not sure how to choose my favorite books by her, but I’ll choose my top 10!  She’s an author not to be missed.

1. Dead Reckoning: From exotic locations to terrorist plots, underwater archeologist, Shiloh Blake is on a non stop fight for her life.  I absolutely loved this storyline of intrigue, adventure, and romance.

2. Book of the Wars: Storm Rising:  Met every expectation in my book loving heart. Action, adventure, travel, special ops and romance. If you love Jason Bourne, you’ll love this adventure. The final book of the series releases later this year and I’m on the edge of my seat for the conclusion.

3. The Droseran Saga: Brand of Light was my top pick for 2019. An absolutely stunning debut into Sci-Fi space opera, Ronie Kendig wove a story that will have you begging for the next installment, due in December.

4. Abiassa’s Fire: Really, the whole series builds on itself, so it is hard to choose which book I loved most. However, the epic conclusion made Fierian a winner. If you love a Lord of The Rings, Narnia feel, you’ll love this fantasy series.

5. The Tox Files: Conspiracy of Silence takes you all over the globe for action, adventure, and a team that just can’t quit. Touching on biblical history that comes to life across generations made for a gripping read. The romance will have you in for a heart-pounding adventure.

6. The Quiet Professionals: Raptor 6 is a gripping, heart-wrenching book that will evoke every emotion you have, but is so realistic of what could happen in wartime that I couldn’t put it down.

7. QP novella: Titanis is my all time favorite novella for a reason. Hunky Aussie Veteran with his own yacht and wounded heart. In steps an old time friend he doesn’t remember, and let me tell you the sparks fly off this page. One of the all time swooniest books I’ve read.

8. Operation Zulu: Redemption is an all-female Special Forces team with so much action, adventure, and romance you’ll be waiting for more of their stories!

9. A Breed Apart: Talon: Combat Tracking Team is one of my all time favorite books. Air Force Veteran Aspen search for her missing brother, presumed dead. As she works with his combat dog, Talon to find him, she works with Military Intelligence, Dane to find the truth. The romance between these two stole my heart and Talon did, too.

10. Discarded Heroes: Digitalis and Wolfsbane: Really the entire series is epic! However, if I had to choose, I’d choose Digitalis and Wolfsbane for introducing us to the amazing Metcalfe family! The action, adventure, and romance is off the charts. However, the whole discarded veterans who are really heroes theme of this series is truly inspiring.

Which authors have you read the most books by?

P.S. FROM REL

I wholeheartedly agree with Necee’s love for Ronie Kendig’s stories. I own and have read every single one of her books and will continue to do so. Every book is a gift to my story lover’s heart 🙂

The author whose books I have read the most of is Susan May Warren. I own her entire fiction backlist and have read every one, with the exception of two digital novellas. Must rectify that! That’s 73 books – plus two not yet published!

You can check out Susie May’s backlist here! And if you want a taste of Susie’s writing, you can get your hands on KNOX, the first in her Montana Marshalls series, currently FREE in digital format.

  5. I love it!! I love both of these authors, but Ronie Kendig is definitely one of my most fav authors, EVER!! 🙂 I’m not sure if I can say I read all her books, or not…I might have missed a few of the earlier series, I’ll have to go research that, and of course, remedy it! 🙂
