Top Ten Tuesday: Books with Animals on the cover

Top Ten Tuesday

As we love our pooch so very much, this freebie Top Ten Tuesday post – hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl – highlights books I own that feature animals on their covers. Most are dogs, of course, but I’ve discovered a variety of animals amongst my bookshelves! It was fun to scroll through my books and select ones that I’ve read (for the most part) and loved. Angela Hunt’s cover has since changed, but I’ve included the original here as it is the one I own and I think it is fabulous! I love the mix of genres featured in these books – women’s fiction, historical romance, general historical, romantic suspense, paramilitary fiction, literary fiction, Chick-Lit, and more!

  1. Unspoken looks like such a good read!

    My TTT.

  2. So many oldies but goodies. I love the Boo series. It always makes me laugh out loud.

  3. I’m currently reading Ronie Kendig’s Trinity-Military War Dog. It’s my first Kendig book as I finally decided to try one of hers after seeing you highly recommend her so often. I am loving it so far!

  4. Thanks for the mention of UNSPOKEN. That gorilla, Sema, is one of my favorite characters EVER! !

  5. Yes – I agree that of these covers- “Unspoken” speaks the loudest. Although the mention of the “Lion” is only in the title of the Mark of the Lion Series by Francine Rivers – every time I see any of the books from that series – I don’t see what’s on the cover – I see The Lion. What an amazing series!!
