Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic was a love freebie so I went with titles beginning with ‘Love’. It was fun to scan my shelves to find them. Anecdotally, there are a lot more historical novels beginning with Love than contemporary reads. I could have done a list with just historical romance novels. And I have a confession…I laughed SOOOO much at myself, I can’t not share. I’ve had Rachel Hauck’s Love Starts with Elle on my shelves since it first released in 2008 – over ten years. I’ve read it, loaned it out, and it’s always been a cover I’ve loved. The play on words only struck me today – Elle = L – yeah, laugh it up, friends – haha! Elle is in my full name, my mum’s name is Eleanor and is also called Ellie, so I simply must have focused on it as a name!
Gosh, I can’t even claim it’s my age, because it’s been nearly 12 years!
If you feel like sharing a story of your own similar blunder in the comments, I’ll send one of you a homemade elastic bookmark – they are the best kind!

Lol! I’m sure I must have a similar story to share, but I can’t think of one at the moment. I’ll be sure to tell you when I do, though!
And Love and Other Mistakes by Jessica Kate is another title starting with “Love” 🙂

Well, honestly I did not think of this title as a play on words either! When I read that, my first thought was what is she talking about? Lol!
Redeeming Love is the title that pops into my head first.

What a fun post! These are all new to me, and I can only think of Love & Gelato, Love & Luck, and Love and Other Words to add, all of which I haven’t read yet. 🙂

I have a reading blunder to share. Years ago I was reading a history book aloud to my kids which had a ship named The Leopard. Several days in a row I read the name of this ship as The Lee-o-pard. Finally, one day I opened it up to read and realized what I was doing. My kids still like to remind me of this.
