Top Ten Tuesday: Winter…and Summer…covers!

Relz Reviewz Banners (87)
Today’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl has the theme of Winter Freebie…

Is there anything more beautiful than a winter themed cover?  I love all of them from Christmas on the beach to deep into the woods family cabins.  Winter brings about the thoughts of fresh white snow, cozy sweaters and Christmas festivities.  However, on Rel’s side of the world, during our American winter, it’s an Australian summer, with heat, oceans, and the beach. We are looking forward to a winter respite with travel from Alaska to Australia! Here is our top ten covers for the week…

1. [easyazon_link identifier=”B07YLBMXQ4″ locale=”US” tag=”relzrevi-20″]Royally Yours[/easyazon_link] was featured last week, but I just loved this fun scene I created at my favorite little store in Alaska, so I had to share it again.  It’s four stories set in a perfect little town called Tinsel, where everyone from movie stars to royalty can get away.

2. [easyazon_link identifier=”B07GNTVY6L” locale=”US” tag=”relzrevi-20″]The Line Between[/easyazon_link] by Tosca Lee has a gorgeous cover with that red pop against snow.  This is a great dystopian style book that deals with what could lead to the destruction of America when a deadly virus gets loosed.  Loved it

3. [easyazon_link identifier=”B07YZQVHXC” locale=”US” tag=”relzrevi-20″]The Wedding Dress Christmas[/easyazon_link] by Rachel Hauck is a novella from The Wedding Collection.  Though I have yet to read it, I love how pretty the colors of this shop are.

4. [easyazon_link identifier=”B07WZWBYQD” locale=”US” tag=”relzrevi-20″]Foremost[/easyazon_link] by Jody Hedlund is from The Lost Princesses Book 2.  Look at this gorgeous cover! Red against the wintry background just pops.  I’m really looking forward to this book, too.

5. [easyazon_link identifier=”B077PS4B7D” locale=”US” tag=”relzrevi-20″]Lygos[/easyazon_link] by Ronie Kendig is an action packed novella set in a winter resort.  If you love her Nightshade books, you’ll love Aladdin’s story. I did and it was so fun seeing characters from her prior books, too!

Rel here! As Necee has mentioned, it’s summer here and we are anticipating a hot Christmas Day and plenty of beach days over the festive season. It only seems right that I flip the winter freebie to summer, so here are some of my favourite Summer/beachy themes covers…

6. [easyazon_link identifier=”1496434390″ locale=”US” tag=”relzrevi-20″]If For Any Reason[/easyazon_link] by Courtney Walsh. This book doesn’t release until February but with Courtney’s name on it, I know it’s going to be brilliant. She’s one of my auto-buy contemporary romance with substance writers! I have an ARC on my Kindle now so it will make the perfect beach read for me!

7. [easyazon_link identifier=”1401687008″ locale=”US” tag=”relzrevi-20″]Barefoot Summer[/easyazon_link] by Denise Hunter. Such a great cover and the story is fabulous, too. Another contemporary romance – it certainly seems that beach covers are often used for contemporary romance stories.

8. [easyazon_link identifier=”1496440404″ locale=”US” tag=”relzrevi-20″]Beach Haven[/easyazon_link] by T. I. Lowe. This is another 2020 release (April) but another book I’m excited to read and the first in a new series. Can’t wait!

9. [easyazon_link identifier=”0800759583″ locale=”US” tag=”relzrevi-20″]A Delirious Summer[/easyazon_link] by Ray Blackston. This is an oldie but a goodie. Ray writes with a sharp wit and unique take on the romantic comedy!

10. [easyazon_link identifier=”B07XYL3667″ locale=”US” tag=”relzrevi-20″]Carry Me Away[/easyazon_link] by Dorothy Adamek. If we are talking beaches and coastline, I can’t go past this stunning historical romance beginning along the unforgiving coastline of Australia and journeying to the pristine beaches of Phillip Island.

  1. It sounds crazy but I prefer winter themed covers and yet that’s not my favorite season. Living close to the beach, that style cover doesn’t draw me in at all. It would totally be the blurb. LYGOS stands on its own for beauty! I love covers with some type of symbol on them and no people.
