You all know I have a literary love affair with Tamara Leigh’s medieval romance stories, so it’s with great delight that I share with you her unique cover reveal that took place today in Paris, France, with none other than the cover model himself, Skyler, Tam’s eldest son!
In the outdoor ballroom at Versailles, Sky revealed Sir Elias and Honore’s cover. You can watch the reveal in the video below – I loved it and think you will too. Having had the pleasure of spending time with Skyler (and the rest of her gorgeous family) when I was visiting with Tamara a couple of years ago, I can tell you he is perfect for Sir Elias. Tam has been visiting him in France for the past week – if you want to see her fun and fabulous pictures of her visit, be sure to connect with her on her Facebook page.
If you have indulged in Tamara’s Age of Faith series, you will well know Sir Elias, poet and warrior, and be as excited as I am to read his story. If you are yet to experience the wonder of this series, I suggest you start at the beginning with The Unveiling and work your way through six amazing novels before The Raveling releases on 19th June!
You can read an excerpt from The Raveling on Tamara’s website!
The Reveal
BY HONOR BOUND TO SEEK THE FOUND, HERE BEGINS A TALE
Sir Elias De Morville is no ordinary man of the sword, possessing both the heart of a warrior and a troubadour. When he sets out to rescue a boy who may be his son, more than ever he must prove worthy of the Wulfrith dagger that ranks him among the greatest of knights. And more difficult it becomes when not only must he protect the enigmatic woman who aids him, but guard against attraction to one forbidden him—she whose deceit could bring his family to its knees.OF RAVELING AND TRAVELING BEYOND THE MOONLIT VEIL
Honore of no surname is of the world only insofar as she ventures into it to pluck unwanted children from dark places. When a foundling is stolen from the abbey, her greatest hope of recovering him is a knight to whom she dare not reveal her face nor the identity of the rebel priest whose flight from King Henry they aid. Finding herself cast in the role of Sir Elias’s wife, she struggles against a heart that longs to be his in truth. And prays what seems a necessary deception does not lay ruin to him.
In 1993, Tamara Leigh signed a 4-book contract with Bantam Books, and her first medieval romance, Warrior Bride, was released in 1994. Continuing to write for the general market, three more novels were published with HarperCollins and Dorchester and earned awards and became national best sellers.
In 2006, Tamara’s first inspirational contemporary romance, Stealing Adda, was released. In 2008, Perfecting Kate was optioned for a movie and Splitting Harriet won the prestigious ACFW Book of the Year award. The following year, Faking Grace was nominated for a RITA award. In 2011, Tamara wrapped up her Southern Discomfort series with the release of Restless in Carolina.
When not in the middle of being a wife, mother, and cookbook fiend, Tamara buries her nose in a good book—and her writer’s pen in ink. In 2012, she returned to the historical romance genre with Dreamspell, a medieval time travel romance. Shortly thereafter, she once more invited readers to join her in the middle ages with the Age of Faith series. Tamara’s #1 Bestsellers—Lady at Arms, Lady Of Eve, Lady Of Fire, and Lady Of Conquest—are the first of her medieval romances to be rewritten as clean reads.
Tamara lives near Nashville with her husband, a German Shepherd who has never met a squeaky toy she can’t destroy, and a feisty Morkie who keeps her company during long writing stints. And then there’s Boog, her grandpuppy…
