Delighted to have the fabulously funny Kristi Ann Hunter back at Relz Reviewz, sharing about cookies, coke, and Colin! Kristi has recently released A Defense of Honor, book #1 in her new Haven Manor series. Hope you enjoy the fun interview and the chance to win a copy of this Regency romance!
Over to you, Kristi!
*****
Cake or Cookies
Seriously? This is a choice I have to make? Fine. Cookies.
Call or Text
Text. Every time. Phone calls give me social anxiety.
Coke or Pepsi
Coke. I live in Atlanta. I’m pretty sure choosing Pepsi would earn me jail time.
Dogs or Cats
Dogs. There’s just something about how happy they are to see you.
Eggs or Pancakes
Eggs as long as they are completely cooked through. Runny yolks are disgusting.
Rel: I don’t think we can be friends anymore 🙁 😉
Facebook or Twitter
First person or Third person
It really depends on the type of book. Most of the time I prefer third person, though, especially in historicals.
Instagram or Pinterest
This is almost as bad as cake or cookies! Instagram, I guess, since it’s easier to actually interact with people.
Marvel or DC
Marvel!
Paperback or EBook
I love reading Paperbacks and having full bookshelves, but eBooks are just ridiculously convenient. What’s better than having a book in your pocket ALL THE TIME?
Summer or Winter
I like MY Winter. If I lived further north I’d totally say summer because it doesn’t take me long to get over snow, but I like the brisk weather we get in the winter where I live.
Sweet or Spicy
Sweet. It’s a constant battle to tame my sweet tooth.
Tattoos or Piercings
Piercings. I don’t even like the idea of needles at the doctor’s office. I am getting nowhere near a tattoo gun.
Rel: So with you on this!!!
Tea or Coffee
The first time I have ever answered this question this way, but… coffee. Sort of. I learned to drink coffee recently, but I take mine with a ton of cream and chocolate, so… I guess I prefer a mocha?
Thornton or Darcy
Can I choose Knightley instead? 😊 Of those, I’d go Darcy, or, more specifically, Colin Firth’s Darcy.
Yoga Pants or Jeans
You are a cruel, cruel woman. Jeans, if I have to pick. I don’t usually go out in public in my yoga pants. Except to Wal-Mart. But that doesn’t really count.
Zoo or Aquarium
Zoo. Each tank at the aquarium just starts looking the same to me after a while. I love watching dolphins though.
Thanks Kristi!
When Katherine “Kit” FitzGilbert turned her back on London society more than a decade ago, she determined never to set foot in a ballroom again. But when business takes her to London and she’s forced to run for her life, she stumbles upon not only a glamorous ballroom but also Graham, Lord Wharton. What should have been a chance encounter becomes much more as Graham embarks on a search for his friend’s missing sister and is convinced Kit knows more about the girl than she’s telling.
After meeting Graham, Kit finds herself wishing things could have been different for the first time in her life, but what she wants can’t matter. Long ago, she dedicated herself to helping women escape the same scorn that drove her from London and raising the innocent children caught in the crossfire. And as much as she desperately wishes to tell Graham everything, revealing the truth isn’t worth putting him and everyone she loves in danger.
Kristi Ann Hunter is the award winning author of Regency romances, including the Hawthorne House series and the Haven Manor series. It’s nice to see that we both choose dogs. They are so loyal and always happy to see us.

I agree with at least 80% of her answers, so we might be soul sisters! We live just a little north of her in SC, and love Coke=)

I agree with Kristi on Coke over Pepsi, jeans, zoo, no tattoos I love dogs, but I also love cats and I have two wonderful boys, Hamilton and Jefferson. Would really enjoy reading “A Defense of Honor”.

We agree on most things, especially our love of cookies and other sweet things. I really enjoy Kristi’s books.
August 5, 2018 at 11:28 am
I love Kristi’s books. I have read this new book and am eagerly awaiting the next one. We agree on most things. My coffee doesn’t look or taste much like coffee after I get through with it. I am definitely a dog person, prefer Coke over Pepsi (actually anything over Pepsi), paperbacks, zoos, jeans and sweet over spicy. I don’t like tattoos or needles and was age 40 before I got my ears pierced so piercings not high on my list either. I am her much older soul sister.

LOVE Kristi’s books!! I’d say we are soul sisters. We agree on everything but 3 of her answers….Yah, we be jiving! 🙂

I also prefer Coke and Facebook. I prefer to speak with other instead of text.

Not quite soul sisters, but some similarities!! I also have a sweet tooth and like a lot of chocolate in my coffee 😉
August 6, 2018 at 3:00 am
Numerous similarities, particularly the well done eggs, dogs, Coke, etc. Fun interview! Appreciate the opportunity to learn more about her new release.

We definitely have the coffee in common. I can’t stand tea, and I like my coffee with a lot of chocolate and cream. I love Starbucks Triple Mocha Frappucino. My favorite barista puts extra chocolate in it for me.

I love dogs and paperbacks.

I’m originally from Atlanta. So Coke, yes! Text definitely! And runny eggs, ick! Give me pancakes! Facebook and I’m learning Instagram. I like both Marvel and DC. But Marvel edges out DC. Captain America and Thor! So much alike! LOL! Fun interview. Kristi is such a fun person
