Bookish Question of the Week

rp_Quoftheweek1-300x30011-300x300111.pngHello, dear readers…an easy bookish question for you!

Being under the weather for the last couple of days, I’ve been able to get some more reading done than usual and devoured Serena Chase’s soon to be released The Sunken Realm (swoony actionville and fabulously long!), Jessica R. Patch’s Just the Way You Are (super cute, fun, and meaningful), and I’m partway through Lisa Harris’ Vendetta (I’m hooked).

There’s just something fun about sharing with others about what we are reading, so do tell, dear literary lovers…

What book/s are you reading this week?

Are you a re-reader? Why, or why not? And if you are, what are some of the books you have read over and over?

I am absolutely a re-reader. I have a bookcase in my room with several old friends that I have been known to return to on occasion. More than one Karen Witemeyer book graces that shelf along with Trish Perry’s The Guy I’m Not Dating. There’s also a few Lori Wick books along with a several general market books from Julia Quinn and Robin McKinley.

I love introducing my readers to debut authors with my Author Alerts feature so I’m now expanding that to share with you talented independently published writers. Buying novels from publishers we trust is usually a safe bet, but when it comes to risking our book budget on an unknown indie writer, we are less likely to take the plunge! Because I know there are some supremely talented indie inspirational writers, I’m going to share them with you through an Indie Author Alert. These authors will have my …
